Funded Sep 26, 2024You investment in my classroom will go a long way! You donations have definitely made a huge impact on my students, as they are now able to have a divider of their own for testing purposes. Before we had to share the dividers and some students were not in their "private office" as we call it. Now, because of your interest in our classroom, each child will get their own "private office". The kids were super excited to unwrap their new offices so that they can do their best in their own private spot during testing.
Your generosity will go a long way, as these dividers will help not only my current students, but the ones to come as well. We truly appreciate you!”

Funded May 10, 2024I would like to take a moment to express my sincere thank you for your interest in my classroom and students. Our classroom looks so beautiful and inviting with our plants all around us. They bring a smile ot our faces as we walk into the room and realize that they are helping us breathe better on a daily basis.
The students have learned so much about plants and have also learned to care for them. They are in charge of watering and making sure they get their food when necessary. They have all taken turns in making sure that if they look as if they need additional sun, they take them closer to the windows or completely outside. The plants are thriving and my students are extatic to know they are they reason why our plants continue to bloom daily.”

Funded May 31, 2024Thank you for your donations. My students have had a lot of fun planting and growing their own plants. They have enjoyed seeing their plants become big and beautiful. This project has also taught them responsibility as to when and how to water their plants. They have made the best of this hot weather and made sure their plants only get sun when it isn't too hot during the day. They have learned to balance the intake of sun and water throughout the day for their plants.
Overall, their planting experience has allowed them for a hands on experience on a daily basis. They have set goals for themselves as to how big they wish their plants to grow and compare them to their classmates. Thank you to all our supporters like, Newman's Own foundation once again for your generosity and interest in my classroom. My students and I are forever grateful.”

Funded Dec 31, 2023Thanks to your generosity, my students have been able to enjoy a snack when needed. The amount of snacks received have been extremely helpful! Now my students have the freedom of asking me for a simple snack whenever they feel it will help them the most. As you could see, some of them feel a little snack will help them perform well as they take a test. This boosts their confidence and ability to try their best and achieve greatly because they are no longer feeling hungry.
The bins that were provided have been very helpful as I sort the snacks out and they get to see them and choose their preference. The ability to have options is of great help because they know there is more than one option for them to choose from. My students have really enjoyed the snacks provided. Thank you again for your interest and investment in my students' education.”

Let's Stick(er) to It!
Funded Apr 6, 2023Your generosity to my classroom has brought a big smile to my students' faces. They have been super excited about being able to pick out their prized pencils and stickers. Something as simple as a sticker brings a smile to their face and a satisfaction for me to see them smile.
They have had the opportunity to pick a prize when they have done a wonderful job at keeping up with tasks, finishing their work and simply being kind to others. They like the ability to choose a pencil, a sticker or an animal eraser. They have been working hard on earning as many stickers as possible to put on their chromebooks as badges of honor.”

Because of your generosity, we have been able to re-supply our closet and have much needed classroom materials handy.My students were very happy to be able to get new markers, white board markers, pencils, crayons, scissors, glue and construction paper. We have been able to create fun and exciting art projects with the brand new materials your generosity provided! Not to mention, we are fully stocked for another school year!”

Funded Feb 23, 2023Every child's emotions are extremely important. With that said, they may need a safe, welcoming environment to express their emotions.
Thank you for the ability you have granted me to be able to create such a space for all my students. My students have made great use of our calming corner on different occasions and for more than simply calming down.
All the materials provided have come in very handy for them to use, whether it be a book, a fidget, a comfy place to sit or the use of a stuffed animal. Thank you for your interest in my students!”

Plants for Clean Air
Funded Jun 8, 2023Our classroom looks so beautiful, bright and inviting thanks to your generosity. These beautiful plants have definitely brighten up our classroom making it look more inviting to all, but, most importantly, bringing a relaxed feeling to the students.
The students have really enjoyed learning about plants and how they grow, not to mention the fact that they will soon have the ability to plant and grow their own. They are extremely excited and looking forward to our plant unit so they can have a real hands on ability to see a plant grow from the very beginning. Our indoor garden will add an even more special touch to our classroom.”

Funded May 17, 2023Thank you so much for supporting my classroom. The items we received have definitely come in handy. We are able to wipe our tables down on a daily basis using our wipes and our sprays. We use our cloth wipes very often because I can simply wash them and re-use them again and again.
The best part about all our cleaning materials is not only are they keeping us germ free and our classroom smelling fabulous but, they are biodegradable and re-usable so that my students learn the importance of recycling and reusing materials.”
