The kits and texts I have selected will give students a variety of different resources to choose from such as; activities that include reading skills that use short articles about sports, natural disasters, and modern wonders of the world etc. Reading skills that are covered with these items are summarizing, identifying the theme and main idea, and making inferences. Your donations will give me the opportunity to help my students become successful learners in all content areas. Students need opportunities to read texts that are shorter in length, of high interest, and have practice with the reading skills they need to strengthen. Help me give my students the joy of reading to learn!
