Hygiene For the Win!
Funded Feb 11, 2025Thank you so much for giving our scholars the opportunity to check-in and freshen up on their hygiene and their daily routines. The students were excited to know that they were able to have an accessible supply of hygiene products in their locker to use at their leisure. The students are trying to encourage good hygiene in middle school along with encouraging their peers to participate in good hygienic practices.
These items will get us a step closer to reaching those goals. Now when the students return from gym, they all eagerly head to their lockers to freshen up. This shows the road to good hygiene won't take long because they are already adapting thanks to you!”

Normalizing Milestones
Funded Feb 11, 2025Wow! I truly want to thank you for this great donation of sanitary items at such a pivotal moment for our young girls growing into young ladies. You would think learning in school would be just limited to academics, however, as teachers we find ourselves teaching students in all aspects of their lives.
The ladies were so excited to know that during those moments of getting their "Misses" and trying to navigate when it may come has been made that much more comfortable for them. It is always the fear of experiencing these moments when not in the comfort of their home and not being prepared. However, with your generosity, we now have a supply of products that will assist our girls and take the embarrassment away. The day after receiving and stocking the items, a young lady was able to come by to ask for some products to assist her because things "Just Happen". Thanks again for all that you do!”

Crafting Their Imagination
Funded Aug 6, 2024I truly want to thank you again for providing necessary resources to our young children in order to help expound on their creativity and learning. Our primary age students now have the opportunity to advance their fine motor skills all while enjoying the projects they will create.
The large Crayola Markers allow the students the opportunity to grip and manage their writing tools as they learn to stay within the lines of coloring. Sometimes learning can be a challenge, however, with your generous donation we are able to make learning that much easier. These Crayola Markers will be able to be shared amongst the school to help bring life to the imagination!”

Funded Aug 6, 2024Thank you for always thinking about the whole child when it comes to your generous donations. As we work to expand the minds of our young scholars academically, we also strive to help grow and manage the social aspect of their lives as well. As the year begins, we look forward to starting our cheer team and prepping them for upcoming games and competitions.
We are excited to get organized and start the year off right with our beautiful cheer socks, water bottles and drawstring bags. We are looking to adjust some sizes for the cheer attire, but all in all, our scholars are ready to cheer on the year.”

Geared Up!
Funded Jan 17, 2024I want to thank you dearly for funding our Geared Up project. Our scholars were preparing to get ready for competition and these items truly came in handy. The navy blue duffle bags allowed our girls to house their garments while on and off the floor. It made our organization of uniforms, shoes and socks seamless as we traveled to and from competition and weekend games. We had a huge issue of students running back and forward to the water fountain to rehydrate during practice which cut into our practice time with the girls. However, with our new water bottles we were able to fill up before practice with little to no distractions. Once again thank you for looking out for the needs of our young scholars.”

Voice in What We Read
Funded Nov 27, 2023We have finally started our reading groups based on specific themes portrayed. The students had the opportunity to choose 1 of 4 choice text, two in which were funded through Donorschoose; Puddnhead Wilson and Blacker the Berry. The students are engaging with the text by jotting down thoughts and wonderings on their sticky notes. We have also carved out days of the week where the students are able to meet in groups that share the same text to hold an open discussion on what they've read so far along with their interpretation of certain passages. The students have actually taken the reigns and began jotting down thoughts in their notebooks because they felt the sticky notes were just not enough. Thank you again for assisting with opening a new door to the curiosity of our scholars.”

Lights, Camera Action!!!
Funded Nov 27, 2023Thank you for helping us gather the items we needed to complete our stage play. Apart of creating the stage play the students also had good idea of what they wanted their characters to resemble. In this case we had a set of cool elves that this funded project allowed us to bring to life. With the black Santa hats, the multi colored sunglasses, and the elf ears, each of these characters were set. The students even took it a step further and decided to personalize their shirts to showcase their elf names.
Unfortunately, Santa Claus suit did not fit our 8th grader, however, we were able to donate it to another class to fulfill their performance in the assembly. Thank you again for always looking out for the best interest of our students.”

Too Cool for the Spotlight
Funded Nov 27, 2023You have truly broken the ceiling with this funded project. Our students were able to step out on the limb and put their acting skills to the test. The students decided to create a stage play for the holiday assembly. The only thing that was missing were our stage props which you so generously helped fund. Due to your kind gestures you have provided the students with an opportunity to showcase their skill set of applying their understanding of theme and developing an entire story line behind it.
The students were able to utilize the the mock fireplace as a center piece for the rags to riches story. The headsets allowed all those that came to see their production to effectively hear the exact message that was delivered by the self-made actors on stage. The students were so excited after their performance that they are already plotting the next play. Thank you again for all that you do for our future.”

Jump Starting the Year!!!
Funded Oct 11, 2023Thank you for providing these essentials to my students. They were extremely excited to receive the notebook and pens to name a few to continue on through the school year. With technology consistently incorporated in the classroom the earbuds and pouches came in handy for our classroom set.
I was literally just trying to piece together color pencils the other day, and now we have brand new sets for students to use. The students were ecstatic about the stick notes and highlighters coming in because we have been using them a lot more recently. Thank you again for all that you do!”
