  • Art Supplies

    Funded May 10, 2024

Thank you so much for the poster board paper. The students learned how to make visualization of their data. They created posters that showed how their house survived when they ran it through a simulation. They connected their posters to the computer using a Makey Makey and they became interactive posters. Your donation of poster paper allows so many projects to be made. Last year we used them for that project and this year I hope to use them to make designs with robots. Thank you again for your generous donation.”

    Funded Sep 1, 2024

Thank you so much for the wonderful materials for our open house! The kids had an amazing time stopping at my table and making pictures. They were so excited to play and explore. It was a huge hit, and I'm thrilled to bring this same energy to Computer Science Night. My hope is we will be able to do the school mascot and connect all four of them together.

I can't wait to see their faces light up again as they dive into creating and transforming their own projects. Your support truly made a difference, and we're all so grateful!”

  • Solar Eclipse

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

These classes will not be used until the solar eclipse. We asked for it in advance so that they didn't sell out. We are hoping to do a schoolwide event that will enable all of the students to learn about what a solar eclipses, and then they will all be going home with the glasses. Our hope is that they will see the beginning of the solar eclipse while they are at school. You're donation is what kicked off this whole event. If it wasn't for you donating the glasses to the school, we would not be able to plan for this event. Thank you for such an amazing donation that will help the students at my school participate in the solar eclipse.”

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

Thank you so much for your donation. Computer science night was a huge success. We had over 150 people show up. The students were running around having so much fun. We did a pixel image activity, a 3doodler pen activity, make binary bracelets, collect data with a wind tunnel, and so much more. Coding club showcased their Makey Makey project and fifth grade showcased their hummingbird projects. There was an area called attribute alley for younger students. The students didn't stop talking about how much fun they had the next day. Thank you for your generous donation. Your donation paid for the entire event to happen. All of the materials we used came from this project. We are so appreciative to everyone who gave and made this event happen.”
