Thank you so much for funding this project. These snacks mean more to our students than you know. For many of them, a snack during the day gives them just the boost of energy they need to get through the rest of the day and perform at their best. This project will go a long way in helping our kids stay focused on the task at hand instead of focusing on hunger. Thank you again for your extreme generosity.”

Wow! I cannot adequately articulate how grateful I am to have received such a generous donation for my athletes. Your donation will really help us ascend to the next level during the upcoming training season. My athletes give their all each day and your donation will help them greatly reduce their risk of injury so that they can compete at a high level throughout the season. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for your generous donation!!!!!”

Thank you so much for your graciousness and benevolence as it relates to this project. It is benefactors like you who make it possible for us to look our best while we strive to be our best.
As soon as the girls received the boxes with their bags, they were immediately excited to open them and see what was inside. The bags turned out even better than expected. They are not only well designed, they are spacious as well.
My newest team members were excited to take pictures with their new bags. My returners were pleasantly surprised with the finished product. Thank you so much to our village.”

Coach Prime once said, "When you look good, you feel good". This quote is very true. Because of your benevolence, our team was able to receive apparel items that were needed to go to cheer camp this past year. These same outfits were also used throughout the year for practices and performances. Our team takes pride in looking their best wherever they go. With your help, we are able to be uniformed for practices as well as for performances. We are abundantly grateful for your support of our program. It means so much to us.”

Because of your graciousness, I am able to provide my team with the opportunity to watch actual performance video on a large screen. Instead of sending the video to them on their phones and trying to watch it simultaneous, I am able to show videos using the projector and screen. We are able to have specific discussions about team performances and analyze video to see where we have made improvements and where we need to make improvements. The team is very receptive to our video sessions and they that know when the projector comes out, we are about to do some film analysis.”

As we travel to our final competition of the season, I am able to sit and reflect on the generosity of the donors this school year. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to outfit our team with tanks and socks to be used for practices and performances. I wholeheartedly believe in being uniformed at all times, including at practices. Even the team's socks should be alike. There is something to be said for a team that is uniformed both on and off the court or field. Thank you from our hearts to yours for your generosity.”

Thank you for your generosity!!! We have had a few cold weather track meets. Thanks to your donations, we were able to stay warm while looking uniformed. The joggers and jackets really helped our athletes during the winter snap. Keeping an athlete's muscles warm during a track meet is essential to a track and field athlete'a success. With these clothing items, we were able to keep our athletes in comfortable, breathable clothing while they stretch and warmup at the beginning of every meet. Our athletes can tell you that the warmup is one of the most important components of a track meet.”

Thank you so, so much for your graciousness and generosity. The Tiger Cheer Army continues to be in awe and appreciative of all of the donations from our community. We are so excited to showcase our skills at this next competition with the help of your donations. Your belief in the program is overwhelming and your dedication to this amazing group of young ladies is heartwarming. They work hard each day at practice to put their best foot forward. As their coach, I am excited to share with them great news such as this.”

According to a survey of over 3,000 young people and over 1,000 parents conducted by the Benenson Strategy group and sponsored by the Born This Way Foundation, "Young people with access to tangible resources are more mentally healthy. Furthermore, youth want to empower themselves with knowledge and skills to support their own wellness—and assist a friend who might be in crisis—but we need to do a better job providing those resources." It is with this in mind, that this project and this group has been developed. In taking a look at the discipline statistics in our school, we have found that a large percentage of our discipline referrals come from our 9th grade students, who are entering high school and trying to figure out where they fit in, and from our young ladies who are struggling with self-esteem, self-identity, and body image issues. Many of our physical altercations occur between students who identify as LGBTGQ. While many of our students identify as LGBTQ at school, they may not identify as such outside of school and may not have talked to their parents about their feelings.
By requesting a library of resources designed for young people, the counseling department hopes to develop a curriculum that targets self-esteem, self-identity, self-acceptance, and positive body image while promoting a community that is inclusive of all of our students. This grant would allow us to purchase resources that will allow the counseling department to facilitate small group counseling sessions utilizing real-life situations and experiences from other students. These books and resources will help to tear down stigmas attached to teens and the issues that they face. They will allow us to reach a wider range of students and use hands-on tools to help them become their best selves.
