Changing How We Learn, One Seat at a Time!
Funded Jan 21, 2024Thank you so much for your generosity. The students of A02 have enjoyed being able to move around our new extra large space now that we have plenty of flexible seating options! Over the last few weeks we have been able to use the new seats to play games with a friend, complete research in a quiet space, use in our calm down corner or complete an independent task. We also like to brag about our classroom as we believe we have one of the nicest ones in our whole building!!! It feels good to be able to be proud of our home away from home!
Your generosity does not go unnoticed and we hope to use the seating for many more years to come! Thank you again!”

Flexible Seating
Funded Jan 31, 2019Thank you for your generous donation in order to make successful our classroom dream of flexible seating options. We were all thrilled when the boxes came with the Yoga ball chairs. The boys couldn't wait to open the boxes and try out the new seats!! The new chairs give students the option in how they want to complete their independent and group work. Students are now excited to complete the activities and the ability to have more freedom in doing so. The addition of the new chairs and bands have also impacted the students sense of pride in our classroom. As a whole, they now want to show off their classroom and take pride in how it looks while learning each day.”

Funded Dec 16, 2017The students in Room 206 and I would like to thank you for your generous donations. Your donations have provided us with a beautiful new area to sit and work in small groups for guided reading and writing. The students were extremely excited to open the packages when they arrived. The ability to put together the stools and work as a team to beautify our room was very heart warming as an educator. The students take extreme pride in the care of the items in our classroom now that they feel they have contributed in the set-up of our room. Currently, we are working on a module about how scientists explore space. Students have the opportunity to read several texts recounting the events of the Apollo 11 mission. In the future, we plan on completing many small group lessons and projects at our new area.”
