  • Lessons Brought to Life With an Interactive Easel

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Thank you so much for your donations. Your donations allowed us to get a dry-erase board, paper cutter, book baggies, and much more little items. The students were so excited when they saw the materials.

The white board is placed at the front of the room and is magnetic which allows the teachers to use different magnetic materials as well as use the white board section to write and show work.

The students' reactions were priceless when they opened up the materials. They couldn't believe that people they never met, cared so much about them, to buy them these materials.

We appreciate all that you have done to allow us to give these students the best education possible!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Spitaleri

  • Colorful Learning

    Funded Dec 14, 2017

Thank you SO MUCH for donating to this project. When I first submitted this project it was to get a colored printer because the printer we had was only black and white. Two weeks later, our black and white printer broke and our school didn't have the funds to replace it. So not only do we need a color printer, we need a printer in general. It is so hard being a teacher without the proper resources and because of you, we are able to get back into the swing of things and focus on what matters most; our students. Having this printer has made our lives so much easier. You are all incredible and we really appreciate your donation!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Spitaleri

  • Giving Impoverished Children in Brooklyn, NY the Best Education Possible

    Funded Mar 29, 2017

Thank you so much for your donation. Your donations allowed us to get two dry-erase boards and a tablet charging station. The students were so excited when they opened the materials.

The white boards are placed at opposite sides of the room which allow the teachers to parallel teach. The students can participate more during a lesson because they can now do work on the board.

Their reactions were priceless. They couldn't believe that people they never met, cared so much about them, to buy them these materials.

We appreciate all that you have done to allow us to give these students the best education possible!”

    With gratitude,

  • Giving Impoverished Children the Best Education Possible

    Funded Mar 18, 2017

Thank you so much for your donation. Your donations allowed us to get bean bag chairs, tablets, a carpet, over the seat storage and room dividers. The students are in love with all the materials.

The bean bag chairs are used in our quiet areas; our library and independent reading stations. They use the bean bags and room dividers during small group instruction. It allows them to learn in a smaller setting which helps them focus.

The tablets allow us to differentiate our teaching based on each student's individual needs.

They use the tablets every day. They can practice sight words, play math games, practice their handwriting, and so much more!

The students were so excited when they opened the materials. Their reactions were priceless. They couldn't believe that people they never met, cared so much about them, to buy them these materials.

We appreciate all that you have done to allow us to give these students the best education possible!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Spitaleri

I am one of two teachers in an integrated classroom setting of 28+ students; 60% of our students being general ed., while 40% of our students have special needs. Being a teacher in a low-income high poverty school district, my students are faced with many challenges both inside and outside of the classroom. A majority of my students live in either public housing, shelters, or foster homes and all of my students receive free lunch based on their socioeconomic status. Our classroom is a place where our students can feel safe regardless of their environmental circumstances. I love my students and want to be able to give them the world. I see their eagerness to succeed, which makes me eager to provide them with the best education possible. I hope that you can help us with this by funding our projects. I appreciate anything you can give. Thank you!
