My Head Start students are from the inner-city and usually come into my classroom from unpredictable environments. I teach at a Title I school in Omaha, Ne with one of the highest percentages in the district of children who receive free and reduced lunches. I love learning alongside these children from diverse backgrounds. As a teacher, it is my job to provide them with a stable environment and rich experiences, so they can become lifelong learners.
