Our kindergarten classroom is a vibrant and diverse learning community of 26 eager young minds. Representing 12 different languages, our students come from a rich tapestry of cultural backgrounds. Fifty-five percent of our school's students are multilingual learners, and 75% come from low-income families. We are the only English-language kindergarten classroom in a school that has half English-language and half Spanish dual-language classrooms. Despite the challenges faced by many of our students and their families, they are incredibly resilient and supportive. Our students are hardworking and eager to learn, and their families do everything they can to help them succeed. To avoid placing unnecessary strain on our families, we rely on outside support to provide essential resources for our classroom. We are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing learning environment that supports all students needs.
