"Moving With Ease Across the Room!"
Funded Sep 7, 2023First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for donating to this project and helping to supply tennis balls for my classroom. We are truly grateful for this addition to our classroom. The tennis balls are such a big help when it comes to moving our desks for small group or independent work. The students no longer have to pick up desks to move (which is potential for an injury) or drag them across the floor messing up the floor. The students can now move the desks with such ease as we go from small group work to independent work.
The students were extremely excited when they unpacked the tennis balls, and many had questions about why would I need so many balls. Not knowing that the balls were for the desks in the classroom. The students enjoyed putting the balls on thier desks, and one even said, "These make the classroom look even better!" The students absolutely love having the tennis balls on their desks.
Again donors, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to get these desk tennis balls for my classroom. These tennis balls have been a great addition to the classroom, and my students and I are so very grateful.”

Funded Oct 17, 2023First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my classroom by donating to this project. You just don't know how much it meant to get snacks for my classroom to provide to my students. There are many day my students are hungry, and they are low on energy; these snacks have been a life saver because I was able to provide the students with a snack in order to keep their energy up.
When the boxes first came, the students were so excited to see me unpack all the snacks for the classroom. Many were ready to just dive into them, but of course they had to wait until they really needed a snack like toward the end of the day. One can't imagine how many questions I recieved every day pertaining to when they could have a snack or could they just have a snack. The snacks were a big hit and very much needed!
With the addition of these snacks, students were able to complete work at the end of the day or even in afterschool because of the energy the snacks gave them. Again donors, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supplying snacks for my classroom. This was truly a blessing and my students enjoyed all the snacks!!”

Funded Sep 22, 2023First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for funding this project for my classroom. This is truly a blessing that you have given to my students. I can't believe we actually have an Oculus in our classroom to engage and motivate my students. The students were so excited to see the item when I unpacked it from the box it came in. Many of my students are kinesthetic learners, so they learn best by doing hands - on activities. The Oculus was a great addition to my classroom because it has really engaged my students, but also motivated many of my students who think school is boring.
I use the Oculus when I do station rotations in the classroom. One of my stations is a Technology station where the students use their Chromebooks to complete an academic task. The Oculus can now be used in that station, so the students can actively engage in some type of fun game - and they love it!! Even my students who are struggling learners have warmed up the Oculus because it is very engaging and they are having fun and learning at the same time. Again donors, I can't thank you all enough for donating to my classroom and funding this Oculus for my students. They have truly enjoyed this technology and have fallen in love with learning all over again!!”

Funded May 6, 2023First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping to fund this project for my classroom. These headphones were truly needed in the classroom because of the various learning activities that take place in the classroom. For instance, I use an intervention program in my classroom for my students who are struggling with their reading skills. With this intervention program that is online, the students have to listen to various lessons and answer questions based on what the lesson is about. The headphones are a great addition because each student has their own pair and can work on their lessons independently without any distractions. In addition, I have some students who have certain accommadations where questions and passaages have to be read to them during an assessment or independent work. The headphones allows these students to work on their assignments independently and have the text and questions read to them.
The students were so excited when they saw that box of headphones arrive in the class, and I started to unpack them. They got even more excited when I told them that they each had their own individual pair of headphones for the classroom. These headphones have truly been a blessing to my students, and I can't thank you all enough!!!”

Funded May 6, 2023First of all, I want to thank each and every one of you wonderful people for donating to this project for my classroom. These certificates were much needed for my 8th graders. Every year, the students look forward to the 8th Grade Honor's Night and Pledge to Graduate Ceremony. When the certificates came in and I started to unpack them, the students were exremely excited because they love how the certificates look. Automtically the students started asking if they were getting any awards because they wanted to see their name on at least one of the certificates. That's the excitment I love seeing in my classroom.
Because of this project, I was able to give each and every 8th grader a beautiful Pledge to Graduate certificate inside a certificate holder, so that everyone recieved some type of certificate walking across the stage that night. These certificates put a smile on every students face, and their parents were proud as well. The certificates for the academic recognitions were also a great addition to the Honor's Night program. Thank you again for putting a smile on all my 8th graders' faces!!”

Funded May 7, 2023First of all, I want to thank you all for donating to this project for my classroom. This mobile desk is a great addition to my classroom because it allows me to be much more accessible to my students in the classroom or out in the hallway while monitoring in the morning or afternoon. My students were so excited to know that I now have mobile desk in the classroom. I can easily have my resources available when they have a question to ask me in the hallway instead of waiting for me to get back with them with a response. The mobile desk allows me to have my laptop with me at all times in case I need to show a student something from Google Classroom.
The next steps for the classroom is to add a classroom rug to make my classroom more inviting and to give students another space where they can gather and collaborate on various assignments and projects. I teach middle school in a rural area, so I try to make my classroom as inviting and comfortable as I can. I want students to have a another place to go in the classroom to do work and a classroom rug would be a great addition for that to happen. Again, I want to thank you so much for donating to this project and helping me to gain a mobile desk for my classroom. My donors are ALL Rockstars!!”

Funded Feb 8, 2023First of all, I want to thank you all for donating to my classroom and supporting my wonderful students. These resources have been such a huge help to our classroom, specifically for my afterschool tutorials. These snacks are used to help give my students the energy they need to conquer extra work in the afternoon during tutorials. My students eat lunch at 11:00 am everyday, so by 4:00 when tutorials start they definitely are in need of a snack to replenish their energy.
My students were so excited when I told them that this snack project had been funded and they couldn't wait for the boxes to start coming into the classroom. When the boxes started to arrive, the students couldn't wait to open them up to see what was on the inside. When I say the smiles on their faces were extremely big and bright, they were big and bright!! They enjoyed opening up every box that came in the room and they saw all the snacks they were going to receive in their afterschool tutorials. All of them are so grateful for the snacks because many don't get snacks at home.
Right now in the classroom, my students are preparing to review for their big state test in April. They are continuing to work hard everyday to make sure they excel on that test. Thank you all so much for the snacks because the snacks keep them energized and focused so that they can review the content in tutorials and practice various reading skills. Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! My students and I are forever grateful.”
