• A Clean Space to Keep Learning on Pace

  Thank you for donating to my project! The new vacuum and cleaning supplies have come in very handy. It is no nice to be able to provide my students with the clean learning space that they deserve. Having a clean learning environment has added to my students' sense of pride in the classroom. Being able to vacuum the rugs in the classroom has allowed my students to more comfortably engage in lessons and independent reading. And the cleaning spray and paper towels enable me to give me students a tidy and germ-free place for small group instruction and and independent work. I truly appreciate your generosity!”

• Building Confidence with Decodable Books

• Breaking Decode: Improved Reading Through Decodable Books

  Thank you for supporting my project. I have started using these decodable books during reading intervention lessons and they are great! They are both interesting and specifically focus on the reading skills my students are learning. Giving my students the opportunity to practice current phonics in an actual text is a great resources for improving their reading abilities and confidence. My students have really enjoyed reading these books and are so proud when they can read them independently! Once again, thank you for your donation!”

• Books for Break

  Thank you for supporting my project! I wrapped all of the books and gave them out to students this morning during our holiday party. The students were thrilled about the gifts! When the students walked in the classroom, there were audible gasps of excitement when they saw presents waiting for them on the table. A first grade student exclaimed, "This is the best day of school ever!" They can't wait to get home and unwrap them.

• New Decor in 2024!

  Thank you for donating to my project! My new classroom is all set up and I can't wait to for students to see it. Having a well-organized, visually appealing classroom will hopefully make my students excited to come to reading intervention lessons. I think the beach themed "book nook" is going to be a favorite spot this year. I can already envision students pretending they are on the beach, relaxing with a good book! And the new rug fits perfectly in the space for small group instruction. I truly appreciate your generosity. Thank you, again, for your support!”

• Succeeding in Reading with WIST

  Thank you so much for donating to my project! This assessment will allow me to start the new school year off with detailed reading data for my students. With this information, I will be able to provided reading intervention lesson specifically targeted to my students' literacy needs. • Rewards For Reading!

  Thank you very much for supporting my project. I am truly appreciative of your donations which allow me to continue rewarding my students for reading achievement. My students are so excited about the new prizes! There have been so many smiling faces at the end of each week when students earn prizes. (The slime and scented chapsticks have been the biggest hits with students!) I am so grateful that I am able to celebrate my students' reading accomplishments with these prizes. Although they are just small tokens, they are very motivating for young students. I sincerely appreciate your generosity.”

• Books For Break

  Funded Dec 1, 2023

  Once again, thank you for your donations in support of my project. I threw a winter break party for my students to celebrate all of their reading accomplishments thus far this school year. I decorated the classroom, provided snacks, and individually wrapped books for every student. Thanks to your donations, I was able to gift each student 2 books. Students had a great time and were very excited to take home their gifts! There were so many smiles and many students told me it was "the best day ever!"

• Games to Grow Reading Skills

  Thank you for your generosity in support of my project. My students had huge smiles on their faces when they opened the games for the first time and continue to enjoy playing the new games. In fact, some students have even stopped by my classroom during their lunch period asking to play the games again! It is great to see my students having so much fun all while practicing reading and writing skills. And having a non-wobbly, level table has made managing game materials run smoothly.
