My students struggle with reading. The only books they want to read are the nonfiction titles and unfortunately there are not enough to go around for a room of almost 30 children. The nonfiction books we do have are few and falling apart and outdated. I want my students to have new, clean and exciting nonfiction books to help build their reading motivation, imaginations and strengthen their reading skills. I plan lessons based on my students needs and likes. Since nonfiction books help motivate their learning, these new titles will help improve their reading levels and boost their imaginations and curiosity!
