• Libros [Books] for Literacy

  Thank you for understanding the importance of literacy in any language, and to contribute to making Spanish-language books available to my English-language learners.

  Having these diverse titles in young adult literature and in the first language of the majority of our students helps them to feel seen and recognized. This project helped to fill our book shelves with titles and work that interested and engaged the students in multi-linguistic literacy.

  Having donors, like you, who recognize that literacy come in a variety of formats makes a difference to offer students titles and books that interest them and advance the concept of reading for enjoyment.”

• Resources for English-Language Learner's Success in AP English

  Thank you for providing these resources to help guide our student's learning. These helped to give the students a visual media to study and practice throughout the year in preparation for the AP exam.

  These made the difference in helping students to understand the magnitude and scope of the college-level AP course. At the same time breaking down the information into more accessible chunks to help them study and review the materials.

• Library Scanners & Processing Resources

  Funded Oct 13, 2022

  Thank you very much for getting these resources to our campus. Thanks to you and with the help of the students, we were able to get our large influx of boxes of books processed, barcoded, and scanned into our library management system. Instead of having to enter barcode numbers in manually we were able to scan the books with codes and get them on the shelves to circulate out to students.

  Needless to say, the students were eager and happy to be able to read and checkout books from their new library.

  Recognizing the importance of financial literacy is often overlooked as a significant component of educating 21st century learners. Keeping apace with the emergent investment and financial opportunities, and balancing them with daily fiscal needs can be overwhelming to young people.

• ESports for Enhancing Learning

  Thank you so much for supporting the need for diverse, 21st century enrichment activities, such as esports, which is more popular than anticipated with our students.

  Some students were excited to get to play on a gaming console for the first time ever, and some students were happy to share their own knowledge and expertise with other students about the games they have played for years.
