Book Study to Build Vocabulary
Funded Mar 20, 2023What a wonderful way to end the day! I am so honored and grateful to have such supportive families! Our class will be thrilled to hear that we get to continue our author study with this wonderful book. This very generous gift will give my class (and classes to come) invaluable learning opportunities. Thank you again.”

Differentiation for ALL!
Funded Aug 13, 2022Thank so much for supporting this project! Your contributions to my project have helped me to provide differentiated, engaging, and fun activities for all my students. Your donations are greatly appreciated!
My students had the opportunity to use so many amazing activities from Teachers Pay Teachers. With help from your donation, I was able to select teacher resources that support our lessons in order to make them both engaging and applicable to each student's learning needs. The resources purchased included activities in ELA and Math and we have used them in small group instruction, group work, and independent practice.
Resources like these make learning fun because each student gets what he/she needs. While we have amazing curriculum, it is also nice to provide more opportunities for my students to engage in fun activities that support the standards we are currently working on. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
Your generous donation will help my students in so many ways. Differentiation in the classroom is key to success and these resources have supported my student's learning immensely!
My students and I feel so blessed and thankful for people like you!”

Ms. Olson
Sorry About the Mess--We Are Learning!
Funded Jul 23, 2021Thank you SO much for your kind and generous donation to this project! From the bottom of my heart, I am immensely grateful for your kindness.
Now that we are back in school full time, we are able to do so many more enriching activities--including engaging sensory bins that we did not have enough time to incorporate into our schedule last year. Having these resources have helped me to make captivating bins for students to really be able to experience the love of learning. These are resources that can be used for any age group, as well, which will multiply the positive impact.
Additionally, I have been able to use the binder to make books for each child that will last for years to come.
It is exciting to see my students planning, creating, exploring, and problem solving each and every day. They will move mountains. Thank you for contributing to my students' success.”

Funded Apr 1, 2021From the bottom of my heart, thank you SO much for your generous donations to this project! While this year was certainly full of challenges, the resources that you funded helped bring a little more normal back into our classroom. Because of you kind donors, my students had a variety of engaging resources to explore during Plan-Do-Review. While these resources may have seemed simple, they had a huge (positive!) impact on students. Due to COVID requirements, having more resources allowed my students to participate in PDR each and every day. This would not have been a possibility without these resources. Plan-Do-Review was, by far, the most popular time of the school day. Although this was a unique year that came with many changes, it was such a blessing to be able to see my students persevere. Students were planning, creating, exploring, and problem solving each day. Thank you for contributing to my sweet kindergarten students' success. They were an amazing group of children and I am confident that they will be successful no matter what obstacles come their way in their future!”

Funded Dec 2, 2020Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your very generous donations to my project. Because of your generosity, we are able to use the resources purchased each and every day.
When my students first saw the new resources, they were very excited. They were even more in awe when I told them that generous donors, like you, helped to purchase the items because you believe in the value of a good education. Each student has been positively impacted by each resource. Though my students would have still learned without these valuable resources, their experiences wouldn't have been as beneficial or rich.
You may be wondering how we are using the new resources. The truth is, we use the resources each and every day. It is so important to cultivate a hands-on learning environment in kindergarten and that is exactly what we do! For example, we use the magnifying glasses to practice reading and spelling CVC and CVCe words by searching for words around the room in fun and engaging ways. We also used the magnifying glasses while learning about oviparous animals! The Legos have also been a big hit amongst all students. Students use the Legos to create during Plan-Do-Review. They use their creativity to build a variety of different things to share with other students. Students have had the opportunity to not only create, but to problem solve through stem challenges.
The resources donated have all benefited my students and it has been a blessing to see the resources positively effecting my students.
So, thank you again. I am immensely grateful and utterly humbled by your generous gifts to my students.”

You may be wondering how we are using the new resources. The truth is, we use the resources each and every day. It is so important to cultivate a hands-on learning environment in kindergarten and that is exactly what we do! For example, we use the magnetic place value blocks each day to help students gain number sense. This is valuable because students are able to actually touch and move the blocks in order to make sense of numbers. The peg boards are used during our Plan Do Review time. This is a time where students plan what they want to do, do the actual activity, and then review what worked/didn't work and how they problem solved throughout the activity. We read books each day, so the books have been a valuable part of our read alouds. The stamps are used to reinforce letters and sounds, along with building CVC and CVCe words.
The resources donated have all benefited my students and it has been a blessing to see the resources positively effecting my students.

Funded Dec 4, 2019Thank you so much for your generous donations! From the moment that we received the stools, students have used them consistently each and every day. When my students first heard that our generous donors funded our project, there were cheers around the room. Though stools seem like such a small resource, it has positively impacted our classroom in more ways than we had originally imagined.
These stools have had a positive impact on my student's learning--specifically, working in small groups has become an easier task for students. For example, it has maximized our small group lesson time because students no longer need to drag their desk chairs to the back in order to learn. Additionally, these stools have become a great resource for flexible seating. While students work at their desks for many activities, there are ample opportunities for them to work around the room as well. These stools have allowed students another option for group and partner work.
Thank you again for supporting my students. We are beyond appreciative for the kindness and generosity.”

Funded Aug 1, 2019Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your very generous donations to my project. Because of your generosity, we are able to use the resources purchased each and every day.
When my students first saw the new resources, they were very excited. Each student has been positively impacted by each resource. Though my students would have still learned without these valuable resources, their experiences wouldn't have been as beneficial or rich.
You may be wondering how we are using the new resources. The truth is, we use the resources each and every day. From day one, we have used the teaching easel for each lesson. During the first week of school, the easel was used for teaching, planning, and implementing our classroom expectations and goals. We have also used the easel to write our daily ELA essential questions, participate in number talks, to complete input charts, to store items for quick access (i.e. our text collections for a lesson, dry-erase markers, curriculum book, etc.), and more! Additionally, the books have been a valuable part of our math lessons. Each student learns in a different way and I have found that intentional read alouds can be a great tool for students to make deeper connections to a variety of subjects. For example, in our latest multiplication unit, students were able to make valuable connections with the support of one of our read alouds. The resources donated have all benefited my students and it has been a blessing to see the resources positively effecting my students.
So, thank you again. I am immensely grateful and utterly humbled by your generous gifts to my students.”
