Make sure to use the match code INSPIRE when you make a donation and Donors Choose will double your donation. Thank you! My students attend a Title I public school in California. My 5th grade students come from a low-income neighborhood and the majority of them qualify for free and reduced lunch. Many of our students are English language learners, and come from homes in which English is not the primary language spoken, therefore making it more difficult for my students to receive academic support at home. Many families struggle to meet the basic needs of their children. Regardless of the challenges they face, my students are highly motivated and who work hard everyday in order to reach their new Common Core standards. I am continually amazed in their dedication to their education.
