  • Calming Corner

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation to our Donors Choose project. Thanks to your support, we were able to create a calming corner in our classroom—a space where students can find comfort and tranquility when they need it most.

With your help, we've been able to provide items such as cozy carpet, soothing sensory tools, books, and calming visual aids that will allow our students to manage stress and emotions in a healthy and productive way. This space helps students focus better during lessons and also provides a safe space to recharge when feeling overwhelmed.

Your kindness is making a real difference in the lives of these students, and I cannot thank you enough for your belief in their potential. Thank you for your generosity. We are so grateful to have supporters like you.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Tashom

  • Welcome to Grade Two!

    Funded Sep 17, 2024

We are deeply grateful for your generosity and kindness in funding our project. Thanks to your support, the materials you've provided are being used daily to enhance our students' learning experiences.

The folders are an essential part of our students' routine. They carry important papers, notices, and homework between school and home. The folders also serve as a place for students to store their drawings and creative work.

The pencils are in constant use across all subjects—reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. They help our students express their ideas, complete assignments, and fuel their creativity.

And the beloved stool—students absolutely love it! The wobbly stool gives students the movement they need to stay focused and engaged throughout the day.

Once again, thank you for making all of this possible. Your support is making a real difference in the lives of our students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Tashom

The students are I are super grateful for your donations. Our turtles, Sebastian and Shelly, thank you too.

The resources purchased are used daily as the filter helps us keep the tank clean, students feed the turtles daily, students use the book to gain knowledge, and the turtles enjoy basking using the platform and the lamp.

It is truly a joy to see students taking care of our class pets. They genuinely enjoy this responsibility.

Thank you for these needed supplies.

  • A Spot on the Rug 4 Me!

    Funded Sep 1, 2023

We are blown away by the generosity of the Donors Choose community. We are so grateful for your kindness and helping us fund this project: A Spot on the Rug 4 Me!

This item came just in time for the new school year. We rolled out the new rug and students were truly excited. Some even commented on how great it looks. I have to admit, it does look great!

The rug is greatly used. The rug is truly a place where we meet daily. It used for learning in all subjects, dancing salsa or engaging in a movement break, classroom discussions about a multitude of topics, smiling, laughing, and coming together to listen to a read-aloud.

We are thankful for donors like you. Thank you for supporting our classroom. Thank you for supporting education. We are forever grateful.”

    With gratitude,

  • Calming Corner!

    Funded Oct 4, 2022

Thank you for your generosity and your support. I can't thank you enough!

When students first saw the calming corner, they were excited. They loved the colors and couldn't wait to lay on the comfy rug.

The students LOVE the calming corner. They use the calming corner to regulate their emotions. Students use this an area to reset or take a break. As students learn more and more in our social emotional learning lessons they are able to effectively and appropriately use this area. In the calming corner, students typically read books, draw, use fidgets, or stress balls.”

    With gratitude,

  • Supplies 4 Third Grade Mathematicians

    Funded Aug 4, 2022

Thank you so much for your generosity! I can't thank you enough. The materials purchased are being used in full effect.

The multiplication circles are placed on the wall for students who need extra practice and reassurance in their multiplication skills.

The erasers are being used for not only small math groups but also phonics. The workbooks are being used as resource to enrich skills taught. The privacy boards are used for any test or exam or when needed to give students a "office" to help focus.

With a heart full of appreciation I say: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
