  • Fuel We Need to Succeed!

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity and help to bring this project to life. Students were so surprised watching me unbox the materials and were excited to see the new treats entering the treasure box. I can already tell the unicorns and cars are going to be a fan favorite and leave first!

I am especially grateful for the laminating sheets to help extend the life of many materials. Scholars routinely use alphabet charts as well as games during centers that need to be laminated to stand up to the use of Kindergarten students nearly every day.

Again, thank you for your kindness. We are so grateful.”

    With gratitude,

  • Stickers, Snacks, and Treasure Box Treats

    Funded May 15, 2024

Thank you for supporting this project. We are grateful for your generosity and assistance in bringing this project to life!

The stickers are a great incentive and are quick and easy to distribute. Students love the princesses and superheroes and cannot believe we know their names.

The snacks helped us refuel as we closed our year. We were able to use them when needed and even were able to have an end of year celebration with some of the snacks. The treasure box treats were a welcome surprise and students worked hard to earn their way to the treasure box.”

    With gratitude,

  • Kindergarten Complete! Gifts and a Reminder Always Be YOUrself!

    Funded May 30, 2024

Thank you for your generosity and support of this project! The rising first graders were ecstatic to receive their gifts and beamed with pride as they showed their families.

The bubbles are always a student favorite and the parents cherish the Certifcate of Completion. We hope the message the book conveys carries students beyond elementary school and provides a gentle reminder to always be their authentic selves.

The Kindergarten Team is so grateful and hope to continue this tradition each year.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cauley

  • Field Trip Ready!

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Yesterday, we took our first trip since receiving the materials and it was so much easier than carrying backpacks or searching for extra bags for students to tote items. Scholars were excited to have something that everyone else had to carry lunches and were extremely surprised to see their very own water bottles.

The bags are so bright that we can easily spot our students even when we travel with the entire grade level. These bags will serve us well for quite some time and we are incredibly grateful for your support.”

    Mrs. Cauley

  • Housekeeping - Help Us Replenish Items!

    Funded Apr 4, 2024

Thank you much for your kindness and generosity! Because of it, our classroom is a much cleaner and quieter space 🙂 Scholars enjoy the mango smell at arrival and while they don't say it, I know they appreciate a clean working area. We've been able to use the sprays to clean our working areas throughout the day, especially after breakfast. The headphones help limit the noise during centers so that students working with technology can focus on their work and others around them can focus in their perspective centers. Our classroom dynamic has changed and as we near the end of the year, students are laser focused on ensuring they are first grade ready! Thank you for caring about us and this project.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cauley

  • Level Up With Tech v.2!

    Funded Feb 26, 2024

Technology is a part of student learning each day. Because of your donation, more students are able to use technology to work towards goals in literacy and math. Our school has a Metals and Gems competition for i-Ready math lessons complete and student engagement has increased so much so that some request working at technology during indoor recess times.

Scholars are striving to meet their goals and having access to reliable technology was the first step in ensuring student have the tools they need to succeed. We appreciate your kindness and generosity and are so grateful!”

  • Level Up with Tech!

    Funded Dec 18, 2023

Thank you for your generosity and kindness! Due to your donation and making this project a reality, more scholars are are able to use technology during centers time and are focusing on skills that are just right for where they are. On i-ready, scholars have been able to work on a targeted learning path based on mid-year diagnostic results as well as complete teacher assigned lessons that align with what we are currently learning in math.

Scholars are working to complete levels on Lexia by practicing literacy skills such as identifying rhyming words, letter sounds, letter matching, reading, vocabulary, comprehension and much more!

Thank you again for your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Cauley

  • Tech Time!

    Funded Dec 18, 2023

Thank you so much for donating to my project! Small group has received a breath of fresh air and students check in and ask if they can join. Scholars have been working on blending sounds and enjoy seeing the "red" screen with our tricky and nonsense words. This skill is the trickiest in Kindergarten, but with practice, scholars are becoming more confident blending the sounds and reading the words.

We have also been able to use slides to quickly identify numbers, identify missing numbers, and solve addition and subtraction problems. Some of the students who were apprehensive to share their thinking get ready to solve problems!

Thank you again for your generosity! We are so grateful!”

    With gratitude,

Each day, during literacy and math workstation time a group of students work on technology improving their literacy and math skills through the use of iReady and Lexia. We began the school year with enough technology for each student to visit the technology station at least once each week for literacy and math and rapidly our laptops stopped working. As a result, technology is home to three students each day during the literacy and math blocks. The priority is given to students who need the most help in various areas so students who have a firm grasp of the material are disappointed to realize it isn't their turn at technology. I love that my students challenge themselves and each other and even loaned my personal laptop for use in technology for a couple of weeks and I am disappointed that some of them have gone multiple weeks without the challenge.
