Each one of my students has a thirst for knowledge and works hard to achieve individual goals set for him or her. Our school is a mixture of low and higher income, but many of my students fall into a lower income category. Each student shares a unique perspective on the world around him. I learn just as much from each one of them, as I hope they take away from being in my classroom. These materials would benefit the high school students in the Alternative Learning Curriculum. This curriculum focuses on functional academics and life skills.
