• Understanding Our Feelings With Sensory Books and Sensory Activities!

  First let me start by saying thank you for your generous contributions toward this project! My students and I are forever grateful for your support! Social emotional learning is critical, especially in these times. The items from this project have been such a great asset to our daily instruction. The books from this project have lead our class to have great discussions and open dialog about feelings. The timers and the liquid bubble timers have also been a great help when our little ones just need a break. Sometimes, they just need to take a moment to themselves and regroup before joining back into the fun. Again, these items have helped our class tremendously and I am so grateful to you for making it possible for us to have these items!”

• I Love This Book!

  Learning to read is such a fun achievement to happen at the kindergarten level. It is so amazing to watch our littlest learners figure out that the squiggles on a page are actually words which have meaning and unlock magical stories! My students have been over the moon with reading the new books from this project! Having books that are at their level is so critical to improving their reading ability. It is also so fun to watch them get excited over finding a book that matches their interests! Thank you again for supporting my classroom and my students!”

• Basic Needs For Financial Literacy Learning!

  I am always so humbled when we receive DonorsChoose packages. The support of our generous donors truly means so much to my students and I. The materials from this project have gone such a long way in my classroom! Basic supplies are an essential component to running our classroom. My students need basic materials to go about their daily activities. While some of my students are able to supply these items for themselves, others are not so fortunate and that is where you have come in to bless those students! The materials from this project have made it so my students never have to struggle without supplies or feel bad for asking when they were not sent to school with certain items. It has been a tremendous weight lifted for me to be able to have access to these materials to help meet my students needs. Thank you again for your support of my classroom project! My students and I are so grateful!”

We have been virtual for the entire school year (with the exception of 3 students switching to hybrid instruction in April). Assigning my students engaging digital resources has been such a help with keeping them enthusiastic about completing their independent practice assignments. This gift card has helped me purchase math resources, literacy resources, science and social studies resources! These resources not only are highly engaging for my students but allow them the ability to complete their work independently.
