Organized and Learning
Funded Aug 10, 2022First and foremost I just wanted to say thank you again for all of your kind donations. The donations allowed us to get items for our class that our students used and love.
We received headphones which the students use daily. The headphones allow the students to work on their chrome books in small groups without disturbing others while they are learning. We received enough headphones for every student in the class. The students absolutely love that the headphones are all different colors.
Another item we received was "All About My Family" posters. These posters were used as a take home project for students. They worked with their family at home to complete the poster and then they brought it back to school to share with their friends. These posters were so much fun for all of us because we got to learn about all of our friends in our class. The students really got creative with their posters.
Lastly, we received bags that we use to hold and store our reading books. The students enjoy having their own book. It helps to keep them organized. Another bag we got was for our computers and again it was something that really helps us stay organized.
Once again thank you to everyone who donated!”

Funded May 18, 2022Thank you all so much for taking the time to donate to my project. The project allowed me to give students an end of the year present to go home with and enjoy their summer. With everything going on through the pandemic and trying to get back to normal, these kids truly deserved the end of the year gift.
When the students received their gift, they were so excited. They loved everything inside their bag. Parents even reached out thanking me for the gift. I really appreciate everything and so do my students.”

Funded Jun 28, 2021Thank you all for all of your kind donations! This really helped my students out this year with staying organized with all of their things that go home. Your donations provided my students with materials that they can use while they are at home. I am thankful for all of you!
The binders show the students how to stay organized and how to keep themselves organized. It is also teaching them responsibility because they have to remember to bring it to and from school each day with their completed homework.”

Funded Aug 21, 2019Thank you for all of your kind donations. The donations that you all gave, helped us get some supplies that we need for the school year. The students absolutely love their new journals and they enjoy making anchor charts on the chart paper.
The journals are used on a daily basis. The students are able to write and draw about anything they want. They then share out with the class and it is such a fun experience.
The magnetic writing paper and the chart paper are both used during writing as well. They boy help greatly in modeling. Thanks again for ALL of your support!”

Listen Up, We Could Use Some Sound!
Funded Feb 20, 2019Thank you so much for the supplies you have sent us. The supplies you sent us will allow for each student to have their very own set of headphones. This really benefits the students. When my students use the computers for their math and reading programs they will be able to use their headphones to hear the program. This is helpful because it often gets loud and each program is individual so students really need to listen. Having the headphones also keeps them very focused. The more focused they are the better they do. Thank you all again for the amazing donations for our project.”

Funded Aug 14, 2018The donations that you made toward this project is something that was very helpful to myself and my classroom. The students and I greatly appreciate all of your support. With your support we were able to get the materials we need to have a successful start to a new school year.
The materials that we received were journals, markers, crayons, copy paper, and chart paper. The children really enjoy the journals. Each child has their own journal that they are able to express their thoughts in. In these journals they are able to create beautiful illustrations with the markers and the crayons. The markers and crayons are also used for many different thing through out the class. So we thank you for that!
Lastly, the biggest impact was the copy paper and the chart paper. The copy paper allows me to make copies of things my students need that we lack here at our school. I am able to make copies of papers, books, posters, etc. The chart paper helps us to make classroom charts to hang and use through out the school year!
Thanks again for all your donations! WE APPRECIATE YOU!”

Listen to Great Books!
Funded Oct 18, 2017Thank you again for all of your kind donations. Those donations helped to fund an amazing project for my second grade class. This project allowed my students to get brand new books on cd for our listening center. Not only did my students receive fiction books, but they also received awesome non fiction books.
Although the books have cds attached to them, my students did not just use them for the listening center. The students have grabbed many of the books for other purposes such as entertainment and for their writing. The students really enjoyed reading the texts. Some of them really helped when they were writing reports on animals. The students really enjoyed the nonfiction books because the pictures were amazing.
Your donations helped me get things for my students a lot quicker than I could myself. I can't thank you all enough. These resources have help enhance my instruction. Hope you all enjoy the photos of my students checking out these awesome books!”

Funded Jun 26, 2017Thank you all so much for your kind donations! The donations have really helped my classroom and my students. Each student received their very own writing journal. This journal allows them to write their thoughts and feelings. They absolutely love using them!
Along with journals, we received tons of copy paper. This is a definite big help. This helps supply the class with reading, writing, and math activities. We greatly appreciated the paper.
We also received white board paper which helps both the students and I. I am able to cover up ugly chalkboard and make use of my space!”

In Need of Ink!
Funded Dec 19, 2016Thank you so much for your donation towards this project. It was a great deal of help to get this ink. Having this ink allows me to print things for my students. Not only can I print different things, they can also be in color. It makes a world of difference when my students get things in color.
Allowing us to have this extra ink, provides the material for me to go the extra mile with my students. As a classroom teacher my students are the reason why I have this job so I do everything in my power to make learning fun and enjoyable.
We have used this ink in various ways in our classroom. I was able to print colored pictures of my students for their centers chart. I was able to print out colored posters to hang in the classroom to not only brighten up the classroom but to activate their learning.
Thanks again for your kind donations. It shows that a little goes a long way!”

Funded Jun 23, 2016Dear Donors,
I would first like to thank you for all of your donations to this project. Getting this project funded, allowed my students to get the materials they needed to start off the beginning of the school year. We were so excited to receive the packages.
In our district, paper is very hard to come by. We were the most happy to see boxes of copy paper. This allows my students to get the materials they need for in the classroom and for their homework. Along with the copy paper, my students were all able to get new pencils and crayons which they use daily. If they did not have these materials we would be lost. When the students saw the headphones, they got really excited to use them in their listening center and on the computers. They really thought it was amazing that they each had their own set of headphones.
All of the materials that we have received were very useful for our classroom. We are taking really good care of them so that we make them last. We do not want to waste good materials! Thanks again for all of your help!
Thank you,
Ms. Grant and 205”
