My goal with this project is to build my students social emotional learning. With everything that has happened since this pandemic started I find social emotional health to be a major priority. I want to engage them in new ways to learn and express their feelings. This will be my student's most memorable school year. There has never been another year like it. With your help, I plan to create personalized materials that they can keep and display PROUDLY. I would like my students to show off the skills they learned through remote learning for THE WORLD to see. My students have learned many new skills within a short period of time. Most have mastered working through a digital platform, and they amaze me everyday with their creativity and innovation. I remember how proud they would be when I displayed their achievements on our school bulletin board. So I thought of a way for them to display their accomplishments and proudly show off their smarts. This "Circuit Maker" and accompanying tools will allow my students to design and display their new skills. From creating their Bitmoji's on face masks, to a student of the month and most improved student t-shirts, positive affirmations to get them going on the harder days of remote learning and so much more. Even a way to acknowledge the hard working parents who make remote learning a success in our school. These items will be keepsakes of their unique year. The sky is the limit with all the positive creations we can achieve with your help.
