    Words can not express how thankful we are that you selected us. My students are overjoyed that they have additional technology in their classroom.

    The Microsoft Surface Pro is different for them because it has a touch screen and they can navigate sites with just a touch. They are excited that they can write on the screen and their writing becomes an actual project. This tablet has built confidence in my students. My not so eager students want to write because it's not the traditional pencil and paper.

    I am overwhelmed with joy right now. It is with extreme gratitude that I say thank you, thank you, thank you for your generous donations.

    I am excited to see my students using technology and how it is enhancing their school work and projects. They are having a great time using the printer to print pictures and their reports. This printer has also helped with worksheets that need to be in color. The printer, paper and ink have encouraged my students to want to use the computer and produce work type written instead of hand written.

    Center for our classroom is helping my students to learn to read by hearing a word and seeing it at the same time. Everyone wants a chance to use the center as often as possible. In addition to being a great learning tool, this center allows the teacher to be in two places at once (a trick every teacher of first grade needs!!) by letting a small group listen to stories on one level and allowing me to work with another group on a different level. This is truly a blessing!”

  • OH! The Places You Can Go When You Can Read

    This letter is to share with you the impact that your thoughtful donations have done for my class. The students are so excited when they go to the listening area to listen to stories and they can hear their phonics lessons in a smaller setting. The day I opened the listening center officially and I did my group lesson introducing the center to them was awesome. They were beaming and just on their best behaviors to get to the center and try out the activity program. The resources that were given to my class has boosted their reading levels by two to three levels since we received them. I am excited to see the growth in my students especially my English language learners. Your thoughtfulness has changed the way my students feel about reading and they are enjoying the time they get to spend in center time.”
