    With the new supplies you have allowed my students to access they are able to work on their hand grasp skills and their handwriting skills . They are able to practice these skills on a consistent basis in order to achieve success in the classroom.

  • Getting Back to the Basics

    Thank you so much for your generous donation, my students are using their new school supplies to complete their assignments and fine motor activities. They are completing their written work with the new pencil and erasers. They are coloring beautiful projects with the new markers and colored pencils.

    My students were so excited to see the variety of colored pencil and markers and were eager to color and draw beautiful pictures. They completed their writing assignments with excitement using the newly sharpened pencil and erasers.

  • Handwriting Helpers

    Thank you for your generous donation towards my handwriting helpers project. My students are greatly benefiting from sitting on the movable seat cushions while writing. It helps them to get their "wiggles" out and focus on their handwriting skills. My students also have loved using the legiliners, as it gives them a writing line to guide their written work. All the other teachers want legiliners now too ! My students are also benefiting from the therapy putty to help strengthen their finger and hand muscles so that they can grasp their pencils correctly while writing. Thank you again !”

  • iPad for Fine Motor Success

    Thank you so much for the iPad for my students. My students are enjoying using the iPad and they are helping them improve their fine motor and visual motor skills. We are using apps that help with letter formation and handwriting as well as a variety of apps that target visual motor skills. They are motivated to practice their skills using the iPad as opposed to practicing skills with paper and pencil. They are excited to work on their fine motor and visual motor skills and have shown improvement with these skills using the iPad.”

  • Fidget to Focus!

    Thank you so much for supporting the "Fidget to Focus" project. I was so thrilled to receive the movable seat cushions and fidgets. The students were absolutely thrilled to receive them and started to use them immediately. They said they love using the cushions and ask to use them all the time!

    We have been using the movable seat cushions in class to help the students improve their ability to pay attention by allowing them appropriate movement in their seat. The students who have used them were unable to stay in their seat previously and attend to the class lesson. Now with the help of sitting on the cushion they can pay attention!

    This has helped the student learning by improving their attention span to the lesson as has allowed more teaching to occur in the classroom since the students don't need as much redirection to sit down and attend.”
