Create Something You!
Funded Jul 21, 2023We can not say thank you loud enough for your generosity!! The materials you blessed us with are used almost daily. My goal as an enrichment and GT teacher is to give the students a chance to create unique projects that hey can be proud of. When materials are consumable it is hard to provide them to 500 plus students a year. Your donation insured many projects for this school year.
One important skill for students is problem solving. It isn't something that is taught in the regular classroom often. In my classroom I challenge students to look for new ways to go about finding the answer or to create things. The students absolutely loved seeing that we had enough supplies to make and build steam projects or research projects. We have been crafting in K-2 and they love doing hands on projects.
I hope to continue to build our Maker Space area so students can let their creative problem solving ideas flow. I hope you are richly blessed for your generous giving.”

Funded May 17, 2021Thank you is not a big enough word to express how grateful the students and I are for the Stay Calm supplies you helped provide. We have already put to good use the fidgets and Clam Down space for kids dealing with anxiety or autism. We have a couple students with autism that have used the items almost daily. Also several students that have high anxiety and fears that need time to clear their heads before they can do their classwork. The items purchased has allowed them that chance.
The students were so excited to learn they now have a safe zone to come relax and destress in. Lots of students have taken advantage of this area when they feel like they need to. We greatly appreciate your help in making this possibly for our school.”

Funded Oct 4, 2019We can not say thank you enough for your help with this project. Learning about the stock market and how it impacts all of us has been such a wonderful experience for the students. The students have been able to learn first hand how what is happening in the country and around the world touches them personally. They see their investments raise and sometimes fall. They have loved playing and several came close to placing in the fall game. We are now in the spring game and they are still just as interested and excited about the new season of investing. We even invited a banker and former economics teacher in to speak with the students and help them learn the game even more. We will continue to learn math, current events, and reading skills because of your generosity. Thank you from the bottom of all our hearts.”

Funded Nov 7, 2011Your generosity is absolutely amazing. When I opened the box with the materials I asked for I was filled with happiness and gratitude. As a school counselor I do not receive money to help with my program but this generous gift has allowed me to reach out to the students at our school.
The kids love playing the games and don't even realize they are learning social skills as they play. They have made a No Bullying box that was suggested in the Bullies, Victums, and Bystanders game. The students in the upper grades are working on performing the character plays for the younger students. They are so excited and this is a new experience for them. I have started small group counseling session using the Helping Children Deal with Bulling, Helping Children Deal with Anger and Helping Children Deal with Conflict guides that were purchased. The students are responding very well in these small groups. They are learning new ways to deal with these issues. This gift has been life changing for so many students. Because you are good heartedness and willingness to give, our students will benefit from enrichment programs that I can now provide for them. I wish many blessing upon you! ”
