These books and materials will help my student's increase their fluency and reading levels. My students don't have access to different types of literature outside of school, so I let them check out books from my personal library. My personal library and school library was recently destroyed due to Hurricane Harvey, so these materials would help my students to be able to continue checking out books. Not only will these materials increase their fluency/reading levels, but also increase their quality of life. Reading is a skill that they can carry with them throughout their lifetime. Becoming fluent readers now will allow them to be successful, contributing citizens in our community when they are adults.
