Thanks for your support, my students will be so excited for the additional options of seating. I can’t do my job without support from amazing donors. I will enjoy adding these seating options for my students. This will allow alternative options for students to learn in different environments. Thanks”

  • Students Love Stories!

    Funded Jan 22, 2022

I am writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude for your exceptional books, "Towers Falling" and "Ground Zero." These powerful works have proven to be invaluable learning tools for 5th-grade students, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the significant historical event that unfolded on September 11th. Your books have expertly captured the essence of that fateful day and its profound impact on our world. Through vivid storytelling and meticulous research, you have effectively conveyed the importance of teaching this point in history to young minds. The engaging narratives and thought-provoking themes within your books have fostered empathy, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the resilience and unity that emerged from the tragedy. Thank you for empowering our students with knowledge and for equipping them with the tools to comprehend and reflect upon this crucial part of our collective memory.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fails

  • Exploring Science!

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

These news science resources have been invaluable. The students were overjoyed as we unloaded box after box of lab tools and experiments. The excitement mounted as we talked about all the different things we would be exploring using the resources provided. They will learn about food webs, weathering, and erosion, physical and chemical changes in matter.

Dissecting owl pellets allowed the students to experiment hands-on. Appropriately use lab tools. They learned the importance of working as a group and problem solving using only the tools provided. They were also able to think critically to solve problems.

In dissecting the owl pellets they were able to solve the scientific phenomena of what an owl eats. They were able to analyze data and create tables to discover over 15 groups, what owls eat most often. It provided an experience with a highly engaging phenomenon.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fails

The science kits will allow each student to explore science concepts hands-on. Each student will need their own experiment kit. Whether we do the experiment in the classroom or have to send the activity home, each child can participate. Science is learned through doing; each child will be allowed to see science in action. Each student will have a hands on learning experience in learning about the earths surface and how it changes. The students will test and experiment using these supplies, to make concrete connections with real world experience.
