• A Sharpen View Sticks With You!

  You sprinkled generosity like confetti and it has made my art class very popular. My students beam with excitement from head to toe as they anticipate returning to art class to use the materials we have because of you. You have made it possible for us to explore medieval life through our castle landscapes; take a safari to see giraffes in the wild; and welcome autumn with our impression of scarecrows and creepy carrots in the garden. As the colors of autumn appear, we are eager to explore using these colors to create the mood for all things autumn. Thank you for making my art class extra special for my students.”

• Shine Bright

  My class and I have enjoyed creating with the new supplies we have all because of you. We have made some amazing projects and some everlasting memories.

  We have made clay pinch pot creatures and added jewels and paint for an added uniqueness and creativity.

  Next, we created our tissue paper painting. This project brought pure delight to everyone's face. From tearing the tissue into small pieces, saturating it with water, to placing the wet tissue onto the canvas to covered their image; this project brought big smiles of joy and curiosity from the artist and observer.

  Then, we decided to use watercolors on canvas. This was so much better that painting on paper and we felt like real artists creating our rainbow lion painting. Thank you so much for each and every experience and memory your generosity has brought to my classroom.”

• Waste Not, Want Not

  You really don't know how happy you have made my students. Your support has help organize many of our art supplies for easy access. The brightly colored totes with lids standout on our shelves making it easy to for the students to locate and returned supplies quickly. We have less cleanup and we are doing a better job at keeping supplies together. The students now have more access to the supplies they are so excited to use. They are also helping to keep the room organized and clean which is a time saver. The extra art supplies have inspired us to create some amazing projects. Thank you.”

• Wishy Washy Keep It All Clean

  My class and I want to thank you so much for your helping us decrease the spread of germs in our art class. In two hours our markers and other supplies may touched anywhere from 24 to 60 hands and within one week about 533 hands( 1066 hands if you count both hands). So having cleaning stations at each table has help to keep hands and supplies germ free. Students can immediately sanitize hands and supply at their table before returning it to storage. My students are happy to be able to use the supplies to make beautiful art and It has really been a time saver for me. Yay!!!”

• Let Your Artist Out

  My students and I would like to thank you so much for supporting our art class. We are so excited to be creating our fall and winter art projects with our new art supplies donated through Donors Choice. Although we appreciate all of our supplies, the brush tip markers have become the most desired medium in our class. My students have never used brush tip markers before and they absolutely love creating with them. They are independently discussing, exploring, developing, practicing, and sharing ideas about creating art with these markers! Your generosity has truly increased the joy of creating in our classroom .”
