• Math Come To Life

  Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom. It was very thoughtful of you and Price Waterhouse Coopers to donate these materials to my classroom. My class is thrilled to be using their new flashcards to practice their math facts. This is helping my students to learn their facts quickly and automatically. They are enjoying playing all of the math games we have been making to reinforce the math skills we are learning everyday. By practicing math skills in a fun way my students are preforming better on assessments and remembering how to complete math problems. We are so grateful for these new math materials and are going to enjoy making and playing math games for the rest of the year. Thank you again.”

• Magical Math

  Thank you all so much for your support of my classroom. My class was so excited when the boxes arrived. They can not stop talking about all the new materials we have in our room. We have been creating graphs to help us track and analyze the temperature each day. This helps us to all learn about analzying graphs. We have also been using the laminator to create new math games. We have been adding to our word wall and laminating our vocabulary cards so they will last all year. We are so greatful for all of your help! You have helped create life long lovers of math.”

• Help us get Chromebooks for our classroom

  Thank you so much for our Google Chromebooks. We were so happy when they finally arrived this year. We have begun to use them to do research. This is essential in order to meet the needs of the Common Core Learning Standards. We are working hard on using multiple sources of information when conducting research. With the added access to the internet more kids have the ability to do research each day. We will make great use of these computers all year. You have had such a great impact on my class this year and will continue to impact many of children in the future. We are so thankful for your support.”

• Magical Mathematicians

  My class was so excited to get all our new math supplies. They jumped for joy upon the arrival of the boxes. We have begun to use our new math games that we created to practice our place value skills. My class is loving making new games and using our new math tools. By having a large clock, protractor and compass I will be able to model on the board what should be done. This helps for my students to know what to do. These materials are helping to foster a love of learning math. My class and I are so thankful for all of your help. Thank you again!”

We have been watching videos this week that connect to our social studies curriculum in order to learn more about how the new nation was formed after the American Revolution. We are able to watch more then one video at a time and share in learning as a class. Having technology like this helps to keep my class engaged and excited about learning. We have been doing research as a class, watching videos, using on line math tools and much more. We will continue to use the projector throughout the year and it will help many classes in the future. We are using the new paper to create poetry books so we can share our wonderful poems with others. We are using all the great colored line paper to publish our writing. Having glue sticks, tape, and a paper cutter helps us to create wonderful projects and display our work in creative ways. Having supplies makes learning much easier and more enjoyable.   Thank you all so much for your generous donations to my classroom. My class was so excited when we got our delivery of books. They are enjoying reading the new myths, folktales, fables and biography books. They are a great addition to our classroom library. These books are teaching my students many valuable lessons about the world. The famous people are helping to inspire them to reach to achieve great things in the future.   Thank you for your donation to my classroom. My class has been using the new books to help them become better writers. They are loving the new thesauruses. We have been working on adding new vocabulary to our writing. New vocabulary helps us to convey our ideas more clearly. We are also working on using new vocabulary in our conversations.

• Nonfiction Reading Comes To Life!

As we begin our non fiction unit we now have new high interest books to pick from. Having books that are interesting and exciting helps for children to become better readers. We have also begun reading the biographies and learning about amazing people like Lou Gehrig. You have truly helped our classroom and are helping to develop life long readers and learners.
