Prop-Up Our Musical!
Funded Dec 21, 2023Our production of Disney Pixar's Finding Nemo Kids will be an absolute hit this year! My students were beyond excited when they saw the many resources we received from your generous donations. We were able to use the garment rack to support all of our costumes. Students helped transform the umbrellas into jellyfish and the pool noodles added bright coral to our stage. The fish nets, greenery, dollies, and craft wrap have allowed our students to make props and set pieces for our show. The mic pack belts have been a lifesaver for the cast members who need to sing, dance, and act all while being hear through a wireless microphone! Thank you again for your contribution to our program.”

Experimenting in Elementary
Funded May 10, 2022Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students are so excited to get to use these science materials in my class.
These Steve Spangler Science kits make our science class engaging, exciting, and foster a lifelong love for experimenting and discovery.
I have seen how hands-on experimenting can positively affect my students and these kits give me the tools to be able to provide that experience for my 900+ students.
I couldn't do these cool experiments without the help of donors like you!
From my students and me, THANK YOU!!”

STEMming With Curiosity!
Funded Mar 20, 2020Thank you so much for your generous donation to our science classroom. The materials have all arrived and I can't wait for students to be back to school in-person to be able to put everything to good use.
Students will have the chance to challenge their ideas and think outside the box as they develop projects with these materials. They will get hands-on experience as they take part in many STEM challenges in class. These challenges are great because they teach students the process engineers go through and the importance of revisiting models as well as work in collaborative groups.
I am so happy that my students will have the opportunity to be exposed to these STEM materials when we return to school. We have many STEM projects planned for the future!
Thank you for this generous gift that will make a world of difference to my students!”

WE CAN'T HEAR! We Need Headphones
Funded Dec 6, 2019THANK YOU so much for your donation and helping to fund this project! My students use the headphones with Chromebooks, computers, and ipads daily during their reading and math centers. The students work on Lexia which provides their own digital lesson designed to meet their educational needs. The students in my class that are English language learners use their headphones for a program called Imagine Learning which provides individualized lessons in their native language that helps them learn English. The students need the headphones to hear the lesson and not disturb their classmates.
The students are excited to have working headphones. My students have been able to focus on what they are learning and are taking extra good care of their new headphones. My students are so excited that they will have the tools needed to complete their assignments while in centers.
Once again thank you for supporting this project! Your continued support of public school teachers and the educational future of my students is greatly appreciated.”

Funded Oct 24, 2019Thank you for the generous donation to my classroom! The cricut has been a great addition! Students love being able to use it to print and cut things that we have hanging in our classroom. Students have created turkeys to go with our reading lessons. They loved being about to put together their projects. The cricut has also been helpful in beautifying our classroom. Students have enjoyed looking at the new decorations and academic posters that have been made.
My studentrs have been facinated with the technology and have had a great time exploring the different options and functions the cricut can do.
Thank you again!”

Funded Jul 28, 2017Thank you very much for the Kindle Fires. This technology has greatly impacted and changed my classes' small group listening station. The students now have technology available to them to use independently and/or with a partner. These Kindles have greatly improved our listen to reading station. Students cannot only listen to the stories, but they can also interact with the text and from this have gained better listening comprehension skills.
Some of my students struggled before with listening to reading and therefore had a hard time comprehending the stories being read to them. These Kindle Fires are kid friendly and easy to use and they have made "listen to reading" my students favorite center rotation. Due to this technology the students' listening comprehension and even fluency have increased.
I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. As you can see from the pictures my students absolutely love using their new Kindles. Thank you again!"”
