I am the fortunate and passionate teacher for a group of inspiring, talented, and curious scientists in Denver Public Schools. My students have within them the capacity to change the world as they know it, and as a science teacher I strive to introduce my students to skills and critical thinking that will enable them to ask questions, address problems, and actively seek their solutions. My students attend a Title I school, and often struggle to afford the supplies needed in their classrooms. In order to best prepare my students to be critical thinkers and scientists, I am seeking lab notebooks for each of my students to utilize in my classroom without placing a financial burden on their families.
