  • Snack Attack

    Funded Feb 28, 2022

I can not adequately express my gratitude for what you did for my students. Your donations provided my students with snacks to help make it through the day. Who knew that snacks could cause so much excitement? Whenever they became hungry, they would come to me to get a snack.

I made sure to provide teachers with snacks to give students throughout the day. I provided snacks to students that I work with and those I do not work with. This was all possible because of your generosity.

I can not thank you enough for being a light to my students and other students in the school. You made a difference on a daily basis.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Ware

  • A Snack A Day Keeps The Hunger Away

    Funded Nov 22, 2021

I would like to thank you for your generosity. It is because of you that my project was funded. With lunch being so early for some students and so late for other students, it was important to me to have snacks to provide. You made this possible for our students. They are enjoying the snacks. We know that it is difficult to learn when you are hungry and this alleviates that problem. Thank you for making a difference. The students get so excited when I give them a snack. Our students and staff are forever grateful to you.”

  • Hydration=Clear Mind

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

I would like to start by thanking you for your donations to my project. Covid has changed how school operates. With no more access to traditional water fountains, water bottles became essential for our students. The excitement on their faces when I went around and distributed the water bottles warmed my heart. Something so small as a water bottle has brought so much joy to our students. They walk around proud daily with their water bottles. I am so grateful for you and your generosity. Our water bottles are a gift that keep on giving.

Thank you, thank you, thank you......”

  • Virtual Learning Here We Come!

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

I would like to say thank you for funding my project. We have faced so many challenges during virtual learning. However, our students are resilient. Your donations allowed us to receive lots of Math manipulatives and a magnetic whiteboard. On behalf of my students, thank you so much for your generosity. It's times like this that we pull together and show our students that the world is rooting for them. Despite the challenges, we approach every day with a positive attitude knowing that we are in this together. Again, thank you.....”

  • We Need Technology

    Funded Dec 4, 2019

I can't fully express in words how grateful I am for your donations to my project. The two laptops are used for my students to improve their mathematical skills. The laptops are reaching more students than planned. Students are using them to complete assessments, play educational games and work through assigned lessons. As a school that lacks technology, you made it easier for my students to access technology. Thank you for being a blessing to my students and me. We want you to know that we are beyond grateful.”

  • It's Time to Collaborate!

    Funded Dec 19, 2018

I want to first thank you for your generosity. It is because of you that we have two new tables in our learning lab. We were so excited when the tables came. The custodian set the tables up for the students. The students are enjoying sitting at the table and completing their work. The way the tables are shaped allow the students to fit perfectly at the tables. The tables allow for collaboration and inquiry. The students are able to sit in close proximity to the teacher.

The students are conducting experiments, working on group projects and collaborating with peers at the tables.

Again, thank you for donating to my project. We will continue to use the tables as we work to improve student achievement.”

  • Science Journals

    Funded Aug 20, 2017

It is with great joy that I write this letter to thank each of you for your generous donation to my class. The students saw the boxes and said, "What is that, Ms. Ware?" They were excited that they were receiving materials for school.

My students are thrilled to be able to write their experiments in their new journals. The Science notebooks with science passages has helped with reading and science. We are able to have these adventures because of your generosity and thoughtfulness. My classroom has been a science lab where students are excited about the inquiring nature of science. With these resources, they are no longer able to just hear about science but they are able to have hands on application.

Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn." My classroom has become a student- led learning environment where students have control of their learning facilitated by me. I involve them and they take their learning to the next level. Please know that you have made a difference in the lives of my students. We are forever grateful for your kindness towards us. Thank you sharing my vision that education is the gateway to success. My students are productive and principled young people with an attitude of curiosity and appreciation for learning.”

  • Bridging the Gap Through Reading

    Funded Aug 25, 2016

It is with pleasure that I express my gratitude to you for your generous donation to my classroom. It is people with a heart like yours that make this world a better place. We have enjoyed reading the books that your donation helped provide. As a teacher, my goal is to create a path to success for my students. I understand that reading is key to success.

The words, thank you, seem so insufficient for what you have done for my students and me. However, it is merely all I have is to say thank you. Thank you for being a beacon of hope to my favorite people, my students. My students are so excited about reading that they can't wait to move on to the new book.

There is a quote that says "A man who reads lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one. The books have helped with teaching main idea, character development, context clues, making inferences, drawing conclusions and many more skills.

We will because you did..... Thank you!!!!”

  • Reading is the Gateway Skill

    Funded Nov 21, 2015

It is with great joy that I write this letter to thank each of you for your generous donation to my class. The day the resources arrived, my students were ecstatic. I allowed a few students to open the boxes. Immediately, they began asking when they were going to be able to use the materials. Since that day, we have had so much fun using our main idea and inference folders. The students have enjoyed all of the nonfiction texts that we received. It has been pure joy watching my students enjoy reading.

There is a quote that I like by Dr. Seuss, "The more that you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you will go." I am very appreciative because your donation has led to more reading in my classroom.

Please know that you have made a difference in the lives of my students. We are forever grateful for your kindness towards us. Thank you sharing my vision that education is the gateway to success. My students are productive and principled young people with an attitude of curiosity and appreciation for learning.”

  • Science In Action!!!

    Funded Sep 1, 2014

It is with great joy that I write this letter to thank each of you for your generous donation to my class. The day the resources arrived, my students were ecstatic. One student inquired, "Ms. Ware, what are in those boxes? Another student asked, "Are those boxes for us?" I allowed a few students to open the boxes. Immediately, they began asking when they were going to be able to use the materials. Since that day, we have had so much fun building molecules, making solutions and mixtures, measuring the volume of water using our new graduated cylinders, and taking temperatures using our new thermometer. It has been pure joy watching my students learn and explore.

My students are thrilled to be able to experiment with these resources. We are able to have these adventures because of your generosity and thoughtfulness. My classroom has been a science lab where students are excited about the inquiring nature of science. With these resources, they are no longer able to just hear about science but they are able to have hands on application.
