• Much Needed Basic Items!

  I know it's been a while. Much has happened since this project was fully funded. COVID 19 has made us understand how precious, and fragile life can be. Things are getting better. Hopefully soon the world will have some normalcy.

  I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your generosity and trust. Many of my former students needed these basic items. Many of their parents were not able to buy any of the supplies needed at the beginning of the school year. However, with your help, they obtained what they needed. Thank you very much!”

• Engaging Remote Learning

  For this project I am requested a $100 gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers to buy engaging, and fun resources to keep my students learning. The resources I have bought at TpT have allowed me to meet to differentiate the tasks to meet my students' needs.

  Having access (and the money)to select appropriate content for my students from over 4 million teacher-created resources have been extremely helpful. Besides saving me money, this have saved me the stress that creating resources/activities from scratch can cause. Thank you so much!”

• Bilingual Readers!

  I want to thank DonorsChoose and all the generous donors that helped me get all the books I requested on this project. I requested many bilingual, culturally responsive books that have kept my students learning and engaged.

  COVID 19 has caused a lot of uncertainty and many students were cut off from many resources they have in school. • Earn, Save and Spend!

  I want to take this time to thank DonorsChoose and all the donors that helped me obtain the items I requested on this project. In a world where we swipe our cards, or pay with apps, our students are becoming less familiar with concepts of money. These items I received gave my students with the opportunity to learn to earn and save "money" with the purpose of spending it on items they want to "purchase" from our classroom store.My students really loved these items and while we were in the classroom, they were very motivated to earn, save and spend the money they earn for positive behaviors. • Items Needed for Remote Teaching!

  Thank you DonorsChoose for allowing teachers to get funded distance learning projects delivered home! For this project I requested easel pads, a document camera, permanent markers, ink cartridge, and a fordable whiteboard. These items have allowed me to maximize the remote learning of my students.

  These items have made the learning of my students more engaging. With the ink and document camera, I have been able to print math and other worksheets to deliver live lessons while sharing the screen for my students to watch as I model. Once again, thank you very much for all you do for our students as well as the teachers!”

• Cricut for the Arts!

Many times the students struggle with what to wear. There are many other events that we wished we had matching/personalized t-shirts, such as, special holidays, school fairs, field trips and festivals. • Better Access During Remote Learning!

  Once again, thank you to Donorschoose and all the generous donors that made the funding of this project possible. These items have made a tremendous difference. Now, I am able to communicate better with my students and without interruptions. Also, the cell phone is not longer burning my ear. In addition, the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter lets me connect the MacBook Pro I recently received through USB-C-enabled to an HDMI display, while also connecting a standard USB device and a USB-C charging cable. This allows me to use a document camera and share my screen with my students. Thank you so very much for making the funding of this project possible!”

• 21st Century Remote Learning!

  A million thanks to DonorsChoose and all the generous donors. No teacher ever imagined we would ever go through a pandemic as we are now, and that all teaching would happen remotely. Having an up-to-date laptop allows me to deliver online lessons through Google Meet, and helps me reach all different learning styles. This laptop makes the learning of my students possible without any freezing or glitching.

  This MacBook pro allows me to create lessons and videos digitally for students to view at home or independently. Thanks again for the generosity and trust.”

• Let's Go Basic!

  Thank you so very much to Donorschoose, Alisa and the Perry and Donna Golkin Family Foundation and all the donors for making the funding of this project possible. The pencils, glue sticks, plastic folders and small table white board we received have made a huge difference in our classroom. Every student received pencils, glue sticks to keep in their pencil cases. Also, they received folders to keep their homework. Since many of my parents were not able to provide basic items at the beginning of the school year, these items were a big necessity. Thanks again.”

• Ink for Special Needs

  Once again, thank you to DonorsChoose and the generous donors that made the funding of this project possible. My English language learners, and students with special needs have benefited tremendously with this ink. We no longer have to wait for my prep periods or lunch for any copying or printing of differentiated activities for my special needs students. Also, many times the school printer breaks. This ink has eliminated all the problems with printing. Printing is a click away. Thank you so much!”
