• Flexible Seats!

  Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project "Flexible Seats". You made our classroom so happy. My students were so excited that we were receiving new flexible seats. They couldn't wait to open them.

  Now we have more flexible options. They are so happy because this is their first classroom that has flexible seats. They like the fact that they get to choose their seats every two weeks. They know all the rules and expectations when choosing their seats.

  Our next step is to try to get a small couch that can also be used as a choice.

• Books Needed!

  Thank you so much for funding "Books Needed". Your generous donation got us books for our classroom.

  My students are so grateful and thankful that we have a variety of books to read. Our classroom library is filled with Mo Willems books. They enjoy reading Piggy and Elephant books, Pigeon books, and Knuffle Bunny books. We started our Author of the Month with Mo Willems books.

The ottomans and single desks are great! We are one step closer in making our whole classroom flexible. The children love sitting on the comfy ottomans and enjoy that fact that their materials are underneath their seats.

• Chapter Books Needed!

  Thank you so much for your donations to our project "Chapter Books Needed!". My students love our new books. Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Bad Guys, Smile, Cat Kid, and Dog Man series are a great addition to our library. As soon as I put them out, they flew off the bookshelves. My students were so excited to get these books. They are reading the books and exchanging them as they go. They are flying through them, and I am so happy to see that they are engaged in the series.

• No More Rainy Day Blues!

  I can't begin to express what your gift means to my students and I. The board games are great when we have rainy day schedule. We are no longer dreading the rain. My students are so excited to use these games. Perfection, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Uno cards, Connect Four and Guess Who. Thank you for making rainy days pink and fun instead of blue and sad. No More Rainy Day Blues!!!

The books teaches them how to value that everyone is different and thats ok. I love how they are kind friendly and easy to read and understand the message. These books have helped so much with diversity and social learning, it has helped my students on how to deal with their feelings, emotions, diversity, and struggles. • New School Year, New Materials!

  Thank you so much for giving us the materials to start the new school year. The home connect folders are wonderful. They are used for homework and for school flyers. The writing journals are great. They like having the space to draw after they write. I love how it has the space and the dotted line to help them with their penmanship. They needed the practice, since they were used to using their finger while in zoom class during the pandemic. They also love their markers and crayons. Children love to color and every time they get a chance to color their faces light up. So thank you for helping us start the school year with the materials we needed.

• Books Needed: Laura Numeroff!!!

  Thank you so much for funding our classroom project "Books Needed: Laura Numeroff!!!". Laura Numeroff is an amazing author. Her books are so much fun to read. I try to expose my students to different authors, and she is one of my favorites. I read them "If You Give A Mouse a Cookie and they loved it!! They had never read the book. They were just so giddy. They really enjoy reading books and learning about different authors. It is such a great experience to see them laugh and enjoy these books.

  It's also great to teach your students the skill of cause and effect.

• Reading Nook!

  Thank you generous donor for fully funding our project "Reading Nook!" Unfortunately we didn't receive what we asked for because it was out of stock, but did receive a saucer chair and a high table with two stools. I have flexible seating in my classroom so it was a perfect addition to our classroom. My students enjoy choosing their seats. They love to choose the high table. These items where a great asset to our classroom. They love the new furniture.
