There really are not enough words to express my excitement and appreciation for your generous donations to my first class project! My students and I are very thankful for your support for public education. Also, I thank you for supporting the hands-on ways that my students learn best. I am looking forward to receiving these math and language manipulatives, and the learning centers. I know the students will enjoy using them. Plus, these are great tools that we will use in the classroom to learn and grow with that I will cherish for many years! Thanks again!!”

Do you remember your teacher reading BIG BOOKS when you were little? I do! My students love books. They especially love big books, because big books are special! I look forward to growing my big book library. I sit on the carpet and read to my students. They enjoy it when I interact with the books. Sometimes I draw pictures on the whiteboard or on a poster board. By donating to our project, you will not only make my students happy, but you will be increasing their literature-based learning. These books have been chosen with my students in mind. The cute storytelling props will help them retell the story or create their own. Some books have hand puppets or soft-stuffed characters that will make the stories engaging. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will help my students grow in reading. This project will only help enrich the experiences my students have with books and literacy learning.
