I am a new first year 7/8th grade math teacher with limited resources in the classroom. Most of the students in my school district struggle with their math skills. More than half of the students have failed to retain their basic foundational math skills to ensure they are successful in the following grades. Those skills are simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
My students, with my facilitating, will highly benefit from the paper of a bigger size as it will be utilized to construct abstract reasoning through drawing to represent foundational skills to help students to master current skills needed to be successful in the seventh and eighth grade.
One of the basic skills my students struggle with is multiplication. I use this program called Formative Loop with my students for extra daily practice on previous skills and current skills. However this program uses a lot of paper and ink. My students will fully benefit from the HP toner for my printer to be able to print skills for my 120 students daily.
Due to rooms being overcrowded with 30 plus students with minimum air circulation, the plug-ins will give the students and others an environment that is pleasant and comfortable for learning to take place.
