  • Snacking for Little People

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

I am dancing in my classroom over the support for my little people. The afternoon snacks will help their tummies be filled and their brains will be alert to work through the rest of the day. Thank you to everyone who believe in my little people!

Smiles and grins will be shared as I share with the little people.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Searles

  • Full Tummies Make for Successful Learning

    Funded Jan 19, 2024

Thank you for your wonderful support of my students. Having these snacks made for a delightful afternoon with full bellies and working mindes. You're kind generosity will never be forgotten by my little people.

Having lunch before 11:00 o'clock each day made for a very long hungry day for little people of ages 3 and 4. The wonderful snacks that were part of the packages that we ordered help to alleviate those growling hungry stomachs that we know all little people possess.

My little people couldn't express bigger smiles and happier attitudes with all of their snacks each day thanks again for all your support.”

  • Cozy and Warm in Prek Land

    Funded Nov 23, 2023

Thank you for allowing my little people to feel warm and cozy with their new hats, gloves, scarf and blankets on days when Old Jack Frost placed out his bitter temperatures here in Texas. The reviews from the parents of my little people were overwhelming with joy and excitement as they were presented with their gifts.

As the year continued, my little people made it a point to show off their treasures, even when temperatures got warmer. The one picture posted shows the blanket did not stay at home. It came to school for nap time. Snuggled under their blanket on their mat my little people happily dreamed of our next classroom activity.”

  • Little People On Task

    Funded Dec 11, 2023

Thank you for helping my little people understand time management even at a very young age. The class is able to move through stations and activities without being too upset. It took a few weeks to understand clean up happens when the timer goes off but lots of practice we are becoming successful.

This timer also allows for my students to become a helper in the classroom by learning how to manipulate tech gadgets.

Thank you for your support of little people in a grown up environment to become successful leaders of tomorrow.”

    Funded Jan 23, 2023

Thank you for allowing my little people a grown up area to complete daily assignments. They are excited to work in teams if three and share their accomplishment with their fellow classmates. The tables have allowed my class to work in comfort in a seated environments vs hunched over on a carpet area. The work products have taken on a new challenge and class.

  • Calming Corner

    Funded Apr 8, 2022

Thank you for assisting on making a calming coroner for my classroom. Having little people calming is an everyday action. Little people ages 3-5 need to have a place where they feel safe and redirect their thoughts.

For my littles this school year was family separation. When I evaluated my home status of my class more than 70% were living at two different locations throughout the year. Daddy and Mommy were not together and coming to school with a different parent each day or week was stressful. Having the calming area and familiar items in the classroom made the room and classroom feel loved and safe to enter. Thanks again for your support of my classroom.”

Homelessness and unemployment are very real in my school community. Most of my 3 to 5 year-olds families do not have basic needs so these snacks will be extra special for my sweet students. Snacks will make my sweet students brains continue to function at full speed. Brain slump is real, we have all been there. That afternoon coffee, that helps us make it till the end of the day. Snacks like these are a luxury in my students' community, not an everyday occasion. My students will be able to level up to other students where families send or bring snacks to class to school.
