    Funded May 9, 2023

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in making our classroom project a resounding success! Thanks to your contributions, 100 elementary students were able to witness the awe-inspiring journey of butterflies, from larvae to their graceful release.

Your belief in education's power to inspire and transform young minds has made a lasting impact. We're truly grateful for your kindness and dedication to our students' learning experiences. Your generosity has transformed the lives of our students and enriched our educational community. Thank you for supporting our class!”

  • Help Bring Us Out of the Technological Dark Ages!

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

I am extremely grateful for your donations that funded the new MacBook Air for my science classes. Your generosity benefited over 90 students (and their teacher)!

I use this laptop to teach every day. As you can see in the photos, the computer is connected to the television in my room, allowing me to display PowerPoint presentations, play videos, or quickly show an image online. I also use this laptop to plan lessons and print copies with ease. Before receiving this gift, I was using a computer that was approximately 15 years old. It often dropped the WiFi connection and was completely unreliable. While it was frustrating for me, it was unfair to our students whose learning was being disrupted. This new computer is just the opposite; it is dependable and it has greatly benefited our students by giving them much-needed access to technology they otherwise would not have gotten in my classroom.

Thank you very much for your generous donation to my project and for supporting students and teachers!”

  • Socially-Distanced Notebooks

    Funded Sep 18, 2020

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity! Your donations gave my students bright and colorful bins to store their notebooks, headphones, and writing implements. We use these bins every day we are in the classroom. Because students are not allowed to use lockers this year, finding a place to store their belongings was a challenge. Although I had some bins already, it was not nearly enough for both the fifth and sixth graders that I teach. Thanks to your generous contribution to my project, all students have their own place to store their materials. Believe me when I tell you how helpful it is to have a place where students can easily find their notebooks and pencils. As you can see in the pictures, they look great in our room, too!

My sincerest appreciation for your donations and for your ongoing support. It has been a bright light in an otherwise challenging school year. Thank you again.”

  • Supply Storage for Super Students

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

My class and I are so grateful for your generous donations! The storage cabinet has been a great convenience in our classroom!

The storage cabinet was desperately needed in our room. We had a wobbly bookshelf that held our notebooks and other supplies. It became so rickety that we were unable to safely continue using it. Our school ordered new computer tables for our room already this year, so I knew another piece of furniture would be difficult to obtain. As you can see in the photos, the storage cabinet holds all of our supplies, our tables caddies, and notebooks for two classes. I honestly do not know where these items would be stored without this piece of furniture.

Thank you very much for providing our class with this greatly-needed storage cabinet. I cannot thank you enough for your support!”

  • DYI Student Planners

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Words cannot express how grateful my class and I are for your generous donations! We love our new planners!

Our donation arrived right at the start of our school year -the busiest time of year for teachers. My co-teacher and I scrambled every free moment that we had to get the pages of our planners copied, covers laminated, and bound together for each one of our students. It took a couple of weeks to get two class sets assembled. In the meantime, students were writing their homework assignments in their notebooks. This was a time-consuming process, as the students had to write the date, each subject, and corresponding assignment each day. We had to allow extra time out of our day to make sure assignments were properly written down.

When we finally presented our classes with the planners, they were thrilled! Their reactions were priceless! Some comment they made were, "They're so colorful!" and "This is going to keep me organized." My favorite comment though was, "I always wanted to use one of these!" They felt so grown up with their new planners and I could tell by their reaction how thankful they were.

Since we have had our planners, writing down assignments or reminders has been a breeze. It takes less than a minute now for students to write down their homework. Parents can also jot a note right in the planner, if necessary, and a teacher is sure to see it and respond accordingly.

Thank you so much for supporting our class and making a difference in the lives of our children! It means the world to us to knowing how much you care! We truly appreciate it!”

    With gratitude,

  • Classroom Caddies for Classy Kids

    Funded Aug 1, 2019

I cannot thank you enough for supporting our classroom and investing in our kids! Your generous donations not only provided us with much-needed supply caddies, but it also boosted our spirits knowing how much people care. Our students were so excited to see our brand-new colorful caddies!

The beautiful neon caddies, as you can see in the photos, brighten up our room and hold the many supplies that we use everyday. The rotating caddies are kept on each of the four tables in the room. They are stocked with pencils, dry erase markers, erasers, and colored pencils. Students can easily access the material they need without leaving their seats.

The plastic caddies are kept on a shelf and they contain the supplies that are needed for projects. They hold markers, scissors, glue sticks, colored pencils, and more. Students know where to go when they need the supplies and it only takes one student to get all the supplies needed for his or her group. The caddies help keep our students organized and our supplies ready for use. The caddies have been a tremendous help to our classroom!

I sincerely appreciate your support and am grateful for your contribution to my class! Thank you!!”

  • Seat Sacks Storage Solution!!

    Funded Aug 14, 2018

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and helping our kids. I can't tell you how much your generous donation meant to our class.

The seat sacks have helped our students stay organized and kept their teachers sane. Students no longer have to get out of their seats to find their material to get ready for the next subject. Their independent reading books are easily accessible. As a result, they are reading for longer periods of time and are no longer wandering around the classroom while they should be reading. The seat sacks have also made pack-up time quick and efficient. Students have what they need to complete their work and no longer forget their materials in school.

You have made a real difference in the lives of the kids we serve. It means the world to us knowing how much people care and support us! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Susan

  • Dream Library to Set Our Future in Motion

    Funded Dec 13, 2017

Greetings from Mrs. Nussbaum's 3rd/4th grade class! My students and I thank you so very much for your generosity. Your donation helped our students in so many ways and has made such an impact on our class.

Our supplies arrived shortly after our return from holiday break in early January. The class had no idea about the project, so you could just imagine their surprise walking into their class that had undergone a complete makeover overnight. I heard many comments such as, "I think we're in the wrong classroom." It was great to see their reactions! Gone was the dreary, old, worn out rug. In its place was a bright, cheerful, brand-new rug with marked off squares that gave each student a place to sit. My co-teacher and I rearranged the class library to make a cozy little nook with the second rug and beanbag chairs. It is the perfect area to relax with a good book and, if you noticed in our pictures, our kids do just that! We use the beanbags as an incentive to read. Once all the students are reading quietly, we pull a name from our bucket of sticks. The children who are called get to read on the beanbag chairs. Our class loves this, as you may have read in our letters. Taking turns on the chairs has helped increase our reading stamina overall as a class, but that's not the greatest benefit we have seen from your donation. The greatest benefit came from all of us knowing that someone cared about us to donate money so we could get what we needed to foster learning in our room. Both the students and I (along with my co-teacher) were so touched that people we didn't even know, cared so much that they wanted to make a difference in our lives. It's hard for students to articulate that in words, but I can tell you, you certainly did! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Susan

The items I am requesting will create a warm, inviting space for students to read and learn. Our school is almost a hundred years old and the bright colors of the carpet will liven up an otherwise dreary room. I plan to use the carpet in the front of the room for large-group instruction. The smaller carpet and bean bags would be used to create a cozy library nook to encourage students to read and promote literacy well beyond the classroom. Thank you for taking the time to read this. With your help, we can collectively create life-long readers and learners.
