If fully funded the students will cut with special scissors, use dough to form letters and numbers, and use stamps to build words. We will use our hands to find our “voice” to communicate with others. The materials we use with our hands such as dough, glue, scissors and stamps will teach us to say words to increase our vocabulary. When students create, we use the creations to develop “sentence starters”. Lacing cards will build our fine motor skills. Sponge stamps can build words that we see and learn to say. These words will be used to build oral sentences.
