Write, Write, Write!
Funded Jan 26, 2018You should see the smile on my students' faces when they received the new materials. I have created fun and engaging activities for my kids to do in class to build their knowledge of phonics. We have created CVC word building stations with the blocks and write and wipe charts. The magnetic table tops have been used to support lower level students during independent writing practice. I have used my magnetic letters from a previous donors choose and the laminating sheets from this project to create other phonic stations that have students identify missing letter sounds.
Every time I walk into the class (I am a push in/pull out teacher), the students instantly recognize the big, bright yellow box which hold all the materials for our fun phonic stations. And let me tell you, my students are ECSTATIC about these stations. They are eager and motivated in each station and enjoy the activities.
I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you for taking time out of your day and personal savings to donate to our project. It means a great deal to our students and know that you are making a difference!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Truong

Funded Oct 8, 2017A BIG thank you each & every one of you. With your generous donations I have been able to better support my students in the process of learning the English language. I have been able to create colorful, engaging, and detailed anchor charts with the chart markers. My students have been using the write & wipe charts to practice their letter formations. The laminator has allowed me to preserve many important documents and posters, such as the sentence stems posters that are used to build language amongst the students. My students love to use the mini white boards so they can act as a "mini teacher". The photo library is engaging and the cards are very durable. They act as great visuals for my students. My students were super ecstatic to see such colorful and new materials, and love using these materials. Again, a BIG thank you to everyone. My next step is to support my students with spelling and tapping out words. I have created another project to support the process of independent spelling and writing, such as using magnetic letters to spell out CVC words.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Truong
