  • School Supplies to Restock the Kinders!

    Funded Dec 16, 2020

Thank you for providing needed materials to all my students. We rely a lot of parent donations but with so many of our families being impacted by our current situation asking families to restock the class with basic student needs did not seem appropriate. The students loved getting new sharp crayons and finally replacing the ones they had broke or lost. The math cubes have been extremely helpful in teaching the students teen numbers. For many students the only school materials they will receive comes directly from school, so your generous donation is very impactful. Thank you very much.”

  • Healthy Kinders Need Water!

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you so much for the durable water cups for my students. We are continuing to do P.E. at school and through distant learning to ensure students stay in shape and learn the importance of a healthy body. However, students do not have access to the water fountains at school due to safety so having their own personal cup was just what we needed. The students loved unboxing them with me and picking out their special color. It has also taught them a lot about responsibility, they need to make sure they don't lose their cup and that is full of water. Your generous gift not only allowed students to continue to do PE but it also taught them about how important it is take care of your body with water. Thank you so very much.”

  • Earbuds to Ensure Concentration

    Funded Oct 23, 2020

Thank you so much for donating earbuds to my students. Half of my students are fully online and the other half are online half the time so having proper earbuds is essential. Prior to receiving these students had a hard time hearing me and an even hard time speaking to the class directly through the computer. These earbuds allow them to be heard clearly and loudly and also hear others. The students loved being able to puckout their special pair and color. We use them daily in class and it has made receiving their education even easier.”

  • Teacher Pay Teachers to Save the Year!

    Funded Sep 16, 2020

Thank you so much for contributing to this important cause. Early intervention is key for students to stay on grade level and teachers pay teachers play a huge role in that. I was able to purchase many resources that help students ay many different levels ranging from preschool skills to 2nd grade.

When a lower group of students were presented with a practice page at their level a students yelled, "Hey, I can do this!" The curriculum we are currently working on is too hard for them so your donation is allowing me to supplement and better support them. I have also be able to give a group of my high students practice with reading blends and digraphs, a skill not taught in Kindergarten curriculum. I will continue to use your generous donation to purchase resources for my students at their specific levels.”

  • Choice Time is Learning Time!

    Funded Jul 2, 2020

Thank you so much for donating these wonderful games, hands on actives, and supplies to my classroom. The students favorite time of the week is choices, when students get to pick a fun, engaging activity of choice with friends. These time of day not only encourages them to work hard on academics through the week but is crucial for their social and emotional learning. During this time of day students learn to share, problem solve, communicate with peers and more. My students were ecstatic when they saw their new materials. While helping me unbox them we talked about the donors that gave them to us, what it means to donate and why is important. We all appreciate your generosity very much.”

  • Fast, Kinders Need Basic Learning Materials for At Home Learning!

    Funded Apr 23, 2020

Thank you so much for contributing to this amazing cause. You were able to help my students get the supplies and materials they needed to succeed in their first round of distant learning. We used the whiteboards daily to practice spelling, math, and even take fun distant learning quizzes.

When I first gave my students there materials they were shocked. We had just been told school was closed all year and many did not have any of the basic supplies needed to continue their education. A lot of the students couldn't believe it was theirs to keep, saying things like, "Mine, forever?" It was wonderful to see their faces light up.

While these supplies went to last years class, I plan to post more projects to help this years class receive the materials they need to be scholars at home.

Many thanks to everyone who picked the Room 30 Kindergarten All-stars!”

  • Fast! Basic Distant Learning Materials Needed!

    Funded Apr 16, 2020

Thank you so much for helping my students succeed in these hard times. You provided many useful materials they needed to continue their education from home. Most of my students did not have things like crayons, writing paper, scissors and more to insure their education continued. With these materials you donated my students were able to actively participate in our daily classes through Zoom. We did art, reading, writing, science, math and more, all because of your donations.

Most of my students were shocked that they got to keep these "fun" tools at home. They opened the packages like a child does on holiday mornings. The paint was a class favorite.

Thank you so much for making such a difference in my students lives. I plan to post more projects for this years class so they can receive the same package last years class did. It was very impactful and their education and I cannot thank you all enough.”

  • Growing Brains Require a Growing Library!

    Funded Mar 2, 2020

Thank you so much for funding such a useful project! Every child reads at their own level and has their own interests, so expanding my library with these books will help them find an even greater love of reading. It’s crucial that students have books at their level and that they find interesting, if it wasn’t for you providing this, it would have been much harder to give them what they need to succeed.”

  • Basic Supplies for Superior Students

    Funded Nov 13, 2019

Thank you so much for donating to my classroom and closing out my project! It truly made my night, more then you know. I look forward to celebrating with my students tomorrow. We need all the items listed in the project and I look forward see what my students create with them! You are changing students lives! ❤️”

  • Furniture to Encourage Student Participation!

    Funded Jul 30, 2019

Thank you so much for your generosity to my classroom. Having storage for the students is key for their engagement. Students are able to grab books and computers easily and without assistance. In the past I have had to help them with these things due to the height of furniture in my class, so your donation has made for much more efficient reading groups.

When the students first saw the area and furniture dedicated solely to them started clapping and asking for an explanation on where it came from and why. I was able to explain to them what the word generous means and how there are people out there who care a lot and enjoy helping.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Crane

A classroom is more than just a room where students come and go to learn for 180 days. In my class students read their first book, write their first paragraph, do their first math equation, meet their first best friend, loose their fist tooth, and many more thing important firsts. Our class is our second home and our second family. During the school year we spend majority of our time here, working hard daily, creating, collaborating, and critically thinking. Without donors like you a lot of the fun, engaging, and important things that happen in our class would not be possible.
