    Thank you so much for donating to this important campaign. It may seem like office supplies are boring and uninteresting, but supplies are the heartbeat of our classroom. It is thanks to you that we can keep chugging along with all of the activities and projects our students work on.

  • Wobble And Rock

    Thank you for donating this amazing furniture to our classroom! These materials have helped students focus so much! The lessons have looked different because there is less starting and stopping while we readjust ourselves. No more being being restricted to a chair or criss cross applesauce.

    The new flexible seating has allowed them to wobble, rock, lean and move while learning. Several students have been more alert and focused. This is a result of your generosity and time spent reading my campaign to support it. You are greatly appreciated!”

  • Second Grade Library!

    The second grade library has been a success! Thank you for supporting this campaign to bring relevant and exciting literature to our students.

    Reading has just become a little more interesting. The students are even arguing over who gets to use the books, but we emphasize that there are plenty to go around and that we will all get to benefit from these new materials.

    There are students who never had an interest in our older books and now have interest in these books. It has brought a rejuvenation and fascination to them that we couldn't have done without you!”

  • Classroom Pets Mini Oreo and Mouse Need Our Help!

    Thank you for donating to help support our classroom pets. Mouse is an important part of our classroom. Having Mouse The Guinea Pig in the classroom allows the children to interact with Mouse and the other children. They ask so many questions about Mouse and learn so much about pet care. Additionally, how to be gentle and loving.

    The children have been taking turns helping to take care of Mouse—feeding, cleaning, providing fresh water. These chores need to be done every day, and I need help! Again, we are so happy to have support with our classroom pet.”

Caring for pets in the classroom is one way we are trying to teach our students about responsibility. Our guinea pigs are cute but they require lots of maintenance. Also, Mini and Mouse are rescue pets. They need to be treated with lots of love and care. Our students have learned that if they want to be liked and trusted by them, they’ll need to treat them carefully and kindly. Our students have been so gentle around them. Especially guinea pigs who love human contact and can become a bigger addition to our classroom. We are hoping Mini and Mouse feel comfortable enough to roam freely in our classroom.

About my class
