  • Filament For Our 3D printer

    Funded Dec 25, 2018

Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom. The students love having color options to use when they print their three dimensional designs. Having this option helps inspire and spark creativity when they start the design process. There aren't a lot of options for finishing our printed objects when we they are finished. Having teal, purple, green and neons brings the students designs to life. The students designs appear more professional and individualized now that they have the ability to choose colors. Thank you again for supporting my students ability to create.”

    With gratitude,

  • Art with Literature

    Funded Oct 9, 2018

Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom. My students love the materials and they have been an effective incentive for them in our class.

I have never heard so many students say, "This is the best day ever!" when playing with our new supplies. Thank you for allowing them and me to experience that excitement in the classroom. A lot of these materials are expensive and we would never get the opportunity to explore with them if it wasn't for your generosity. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

  • Art Books For Our Studio

    Funded Mar 26, 2018

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom. We have been able to incorporate stories into our lessons. This has helped my students gain a better insight into art history and different types of art work.

We have incorporated literature into our lessons by pairing up books with projects that we are working on. We use our books to read while we are working. We use them to start our lessons and sometimes we use them to explore different types of art.

My classes that love the stories the most are our kindergartners. Teaching art through stories helps them understand their projects on a deeper level.”

  • Help Us Paint The World In Bold Vivid Colors

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for your donations. It means the world to my students to have real paint to work with. We have had tempera cakes for so long and the colors are not vivid or bright. I can also start teaching how to mix colors and create tints and tones.

The students were so excited to work with actual paint. They had to learn how to use just a little bit of paint at a time in order to control where it went.

We have been collecting canvas bags so that we can use our new supplies to paint them. We wouldn't have been able to do our next project without these new paints.”

  • Watercolor Experiments

    Funded Nov 4, 2017

Thank you so much for your contribution to our classroom. Having quality supplies, especially paper when you are trying to paint makes all the difference in your success. Students have been able to experiment and play with watercolors far more than they previously could. They have experimented with glitter, oil pastels, ink and other materials available in our classroom. This paper is amazingly thick and takes a lot of water. Our paint colors are more vibrant and we have yet to actually rip a piece of it while creating. Thank you for supporting us in our creative adventures.”

  • Hands and Legs for our Tablets

    Funded Jul 27, 2017

Thank you so much for your generous gift to our class. The tripods have already found multiple uses within our classroom and. The students finished their first animation and it would have not been possible without the stability the tripods and tablet adapters provided. Our class is in the process of working on our second animation for the year and the supplies are still going strong. Other classrooms within our school have benefited from your donation as well. Teachers usually have to assist their students with the recording of their homework videos for the class website. With the tripods and tablet holders our students have been able to use the technology independently to create their videos. This has allowed for more authentic work and true student led direction. Thank you again for affording my class and our school this opportunity. Your generosity is a blessing.”

  • Making Paper Out Of Trash

    Funded Jul 25, 2017

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom. The students learned about the art of paper making and were able to create their own letter sized paper, including envelopes. We collected recycled white paper from our classrooms and shredded it to use in our process. The students had a blast working on this from the beginning to the end. Many of them had never thought about where paper came from or the process that went into it's construction. Our class is going to make paper again to sell at our STEAM Fair this spring. The students are actively collecting different materials to layer into their paper to give it a unique color and design. Thank you again for affording my students this unique learning opportunity.”
