  • Art Supplies for Family Fun and Student-Led Conferences

    Funded Oct 24, 2019

Thank you so much for all of these amazing supplies! Having these markers, model magic and popsicle sticks set aside ready for conferences and other school events takes so much pressure off trying to find things to do at the last minute. Not to mention the funds for such supplies. We have conferences coming up this week and I am so excited to have a table for families to do activities together. Thank you again for your generosity and support in helping us continue to build relationships with our kids and families. We couldn't do any of these amazing things without you.”

  • Sketchbooks for Drawing With Our Family

    Funded Oct 14, 2019

Thank you so much for your donation to our class project. My students are so excited to have the opportunity to create sketch books. They were over the moon when we opened the boxes of duct tape and they saw all the colors. Having choice is so important for kids especially in art class. When they have choice in their art they take pride in their work and craftsmanship. I know that they will use and share these sketch books with their families once they leave our classroom. I can't wait to see what they create. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to extend art outside of our classroom. We appreciate you!”

  • Watercolors for Studio

    Funded May 28, 2019

Thank you for your donations to our studio art room. The students are over the moon for the metallic watercolors. We are about to use them again for our Dale Chihuly sculpture project. I was able to use the watercolor pencils with a small group of students when the supplies first arrived and they thought they were absolutely magical. I can't wait to see what the rest of my students create with them. Without your continued support I would not get to share these extra supplies with my students. Having fun tools and art mediums helps inspire them to continue to be creative and make art. Thank you.”

  • Light up our art room

    Funded May 28, 2019

Thank you so much for the light boards and accessories to go with them! The students think they are truly magical, which they are. We have been using them to talk about color mixing and a fun way to create designs. My older students have used them to trace their drawings onto their final papers. All they need is tape to hold their work in place and the rest is easy thanks to the light board. I'm sure my students will find new uses for these amazing tools the longer they are in our classroom. Thank you again for helping me provide my students with these supplies.”

  • Rechargeable Batteries for Art

    Funded Apr 17, 2019

Thank you so much for your contribution to our art studio. Having these rechargeable batteries means the world to my students. Having to submit purchase orders for supplies takes time and they are only approved once a month. So if we were to run out of batteries my students wouldn't have access to those supplies for a long time. Many of the supplies in my room that use batteries are used by my students in our inclusive arts class. They rely on these supplies to create art in a low stress environment.”

  • Fun Markers for Art

    Funded Mar 22, 2019

Thank you for your contribution to our art classroom. My students are in love with our special markers. I have them in their own glitter containers and we only get them out for special occasions when the students want to make cards for their families or when our projects need just that little extra sparkle. My students who refuse to draw can't resist their sparkle and will create our entire class when given the opportunity to use these supplies. I can't thank you enough for helping our classroom receive these fun markers. Having everything that glitters and sparkles brings out the artist in everyone.”

  • Clay for Studio

    Funded Jan 31, 2019

Thank you for your generous donation that helped us get the supplies we needed to start doing clay projects in our room. My students are beyond excited to have this new medium in our room. We haven't had many opportunities to build sculptures and work in 3D. We use play-doh regularly but my students aren't able to keep their creations and paint them. Our first project will be individual slab tiles. We are going to make a collaborative art installation to go in our schools lobby. Thank you again!”

  • Unite Our Technology

    Funded Feb 28, 2019

Thank you for your contribution to our class. We were able to use the apple tv the first day we received it. I was teaching the students how to use our app that allows us to draw designs for our 3D printer. Having the ability to show the entire class at once helped allow the students to ask questions and learn from each other. It even sparked a bit of creativity and the kids decided they wanted to do a collaborative project using some other supplies we just received from donors choose. Soon we will have a giant spirograph mural in our school all thanks to allowing us to learn together through our apple tv.”

  • Art Basics

    Funded Mar 23, 2019

Thank you so much for continued contributions to our classroom. Our Studio art class is in its second year and we wouldn't have half of the supplies my students get to enjoy on a daily basis if it wasn't for your generosity. You should see the students light up when we get a package with new items from a campaign. They turn into the best little helpers because they all want to be the first to use the supplies. They try harder on their work and their overall sense of grit and determination doubles. You are helping me teach these kids that they have worth and our worthy of nice things. And who knew that so many kids would want to spin yarn? I have students asking to skip their recess so they can help straighten out our yarn supply with our new yarn spinner. Thank you again for your donations. They mean so much to me and my students. You truly are a blessing.”

  • Tab Centers in Our Art Room

    Funded Mar 1, 2019

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. My students absolutely love working with these new materials. They have never seen some of these tools and are having a blast exploring what they do. The pens have peaked new interest in spirographs and we are now designing ones to print on our 3D printer. The kids love the play-doh tools and we have started to collect crayons to peel for our new crayon melter. As soon as we have enough supplies for our three melter's we will start experimenting with those tools. Thank you again for allowing us to get these items.”
