Pinecrest Lakes Academy is a PreK-8 charter school that opened its doors in August, 2017. Our school curriculum challenges all students to meet high expectations with a strong focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Lake County is a diverse county with 45% minority enrollment, of which the majority is Hispanic. Socio-economically speaking, the median household income of Lake County residents was $46,403 in 2015, and 13.9% live in poverty. Last year our school was #1 in Lake County for test scores! Our students work very hard, and love coming to art for a creative reprieve!
