Color Their World While Saving Ours
Funded Nov 12, 2024I wanted to take this time to thank you for your very thoughtful gift to my class. We are able to print out our own color copies right from our room instead of having to run to the teachers lounge the copier makes beautiful pictures and the ink is lasting forever. It even prints photos of the children beautifully. This printer has given us the ability to be more creative in our teaching and to use beautiful pictures to show the students. This gift was very much appreciated. I am certain we will have it for years to come, and it will affect many classes in the future.”

Help My Little Artists to Create an Original Masterpiece !
Funded Apr 4, 2024Thank you for your kindness and generosity for donating tie dye materials and shirts for my students. They absolutely loved the entire process of creating their own design, squirting the ink, and seeing their final outcome of their shirts. They also loved that their shirt was not the same as anybody else's. We used the shirts for field day as well as on the last day of school celebration. They got up on stage and sang "Three Little Birds" and did the sign language to the song for their families. One of my students has cochlear implants and the kids wanted to learn to talk like she did. The parents loved it. It was also a very nice keepsake for them to take home after a fun year of preschool.”

Funded Feb 12, 2024I want to express my sincere gratitude of the gifts of ink and card stock as well as staplers that you donated to our classroom. It really does take a lot of these things in order to plan effective and exciting lessons for the children. These types of consumables are costly and are used up very quickly, I had reached a point where I could no longer pay out of my own pocket for these, however because of your generosity, the students will continue to work with exciting hands-on materials along with the lamination you donated. This allows the children to manipulate the activities, but keeps them safe for the next school year , it's because of people like you, that teachers are able to provide children withengaging and meaningful activities.”

Making Sense of Number Sense
Funded Jan 5, 2024I want to thank you for your very generous contribution of Numicon Blocks for our classroom. It is giving the students a very hands on and fun way to learn about number sense.
The manipulatives act as a hands on tens frame. They are learning different ways to make ten. They are also able to see what sets have more and which sets have less.
This activity also teaches matching and visual discrimination. The students can look at a picture and try to match or copy it using the Numicon Blocks.
Without your generosity, we could have never afforded to purchase this wonderful tool to help with math. You are very much appreciated.
Thank you again,
Ms. Kristin's Class.”

The students have a chance to pretend to work in a store. They are selling food and items, as well as being the workers at the store. It is promoting communication both ways. The students are asking questions and answering a variety of questions.
The students have the opportunity to play restaurant. They have a variety of food they can pretend to make. They have created a pizza shop, a bakery, and an ice cream shop. The toys you purchased are having them use their fine motor skills, matching skills, communication skills and much more. They could play with these item forever. Materials Needed to Create Future Architects and Strengthen Little Hands!
Funded Aug 24, 2023I wanted to thank you for for your generosity. You have made such a wonderful impact on my 20 preschoolers. It is such an amazing experience to watch them use their imagination to create their masterpieces. They love to talk about what they are making and describe their ideas. They work together with other children talking through their ideas and thoughts and making compromises so they all have an important part of the building experience .
The students are having so much fun they do not realize they are working hard on many fine motor skills that prepare their little hands to write. They are working on strength, practicing using both hands together, coordination when connecting and creativity.”

Future Archeologists in Need of Sand and Digging Tools!
Funded Aug 16, 2023This letter can't begin to describe the excitement on 20 faces when they went outside and saw new sand in their sandbox as well as many different new sand toys that were not broken. It looked like Christmas morning. They all squeezed in the sandbox and tried out all of the new toys. They were very careful, knowing these toys were new and important. It was almost impossible to get them to come out of the sand box and come back inside. They were also very excited to see the dinosaur sand activity. They are eager to learn all they can about dinosaurs and playing with the sand while they learn makes twice the fun. Thank you again for giving these children this wonderful donation that will last throughout the year and beyond.”

Funded Jul 12, 2023I wanted to thank you for your very generous donation that enabled my class to get their first light up center. They were ecstatic when we opened up the packages and they found out they would have the access and ability to play with these beautiful manipulatives and toys. They are all so colorful, and they were amazed at how different they looked when they were placed on the light table.
The manipulatives are beautiful and fun. The kids don't even know they are working on fine motor skills, sensory activities, letter and number recognition, stacking and more. They can put colors together and see how to make a different color. Their experiments enhance the conversations with their peers. They are learning how to take turns, cooperative, experiment and describe. This donation was truly a blessing. Thank you again.”

Funded Apr 21, 2023I want to take this time to thank you for your generosity. Your donation has made a huge impression on the 20 students in my classroom. during Covid, we were made to get rid of all of our carpets or cloth materials. Those things were thrown away, and we were not reimbursed for them. We went several years with no rug. The children in our classroom are usually between three and five years old. They need to be down on the floor playing. It's very hard to do on a hard floor that is often dirty. The rug you donated is large, brightly colored and comfortable the children love sitting on it during circle time, and playing on it during center time it's covered with the letters of the alphabet . They enjoy finding letters that are in their first name.”
