My students are second graders who live in a low socioeconomic area. They are typical seven and eight year olds when it comes to enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. Most of these students do not have access to the latest technology at home. They respond enthusiastically to a video game even if it is educational. I want to make learning fun and create lifelong learners! Because their school is located in a high poverty area, donations are not plentiful. I do not think that these students should be punished for this. They deserve the same learning opportunity as any other second grader!
