  • Free Little Library

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

I’m thrilled to share the wonderful news that our project has been fully funded! We can’t wait for our materials to arrive and for a few sunny days to get started on building our library. Once it’s completed and filled with books, we’ll be sure to share photos with you, our incredible supporters. Your generosity has made this possible, and we’re truly grateful for your support. Thank you once again!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Silva

  • Technology for the Next Generation!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

I am incredibly grateful for your generous contribution to our DonorsChoose project, which allowed us to acquire a much-needed iPad for our classroom. Your support is making a significant difference in our students' learning experience by providing them with access to innovative educational tools and resources. The iPad will not only enhance their engagement but also facilitate personalized learning, helping each student reach their full potential.

Thank you for believing in the power of education and for investing in our classroom. Your kindness is inspiring and greatly appreciated by both our students and me. We are excited to see the positive impact your gift will have on our educational journey and are deeply thankful for your support.

    Warm regards,”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Silva

  • Move It! Shake It! Write It?

    Funded Mar 16, 2018

Thank you for supporting my pre-COVID project. The flexible seating options that students enjoy on a daily basis have allowed for a calm and comfortable return to in-person schooling. We have all heard and read the news stories about the challenges of returning to in-person learning and offering choices to students on their seating might seem like an insignificant, it has really helped.

My students greatly appreciate your generosity in funding this project and allowing me to support our students in different ways.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Silva

Welcome to my English Language Arts seventh and eighth grade classroom! My classroom is in an inner city school and all of the students in our school qualify for free or reduced lunch under Title 1. Our middle school has a very diverse population with a wide range of learning abilities. Due to budgetary reasons, we don't have a lot of updated, current materials for the students to learn from. My hope is that all my students will have the opportunities to learn that they deserve. They all have the ability to be successful and to contribute to the future in positive ways. Please consider helping my students by supporting out projects!
