I work in an inner city public school with very little resources. Anything I need for my classroom, I usually have to buy myself. My students are living in high poverty. Most of them do not have books at home. But they love to read, explore, and talk about literature. I have spent thousands of dollars of my own money building my library over the years. I love books and I try to teach my students to love books as well.
