It's Story Time!
Funded Nov 30, 2010This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation. The story telling kits and flannel board you donated are being used on a daily basis in the classroom. The students are better understanding the stories we are reading to them.
My student are learning the importance of retelling, learning how to tell a story in the correct order, and how to communicate effectively as the story is being retold. This is all happening because of your generous donations!”

My students are loving when the camera is out and being used. They are asking, "Can I see?" I love digital cameras because children can see the picture right away! As a teacher, a camera is a valuable tool in putting together portfolios, labeling cubbies, making class books and personalized visuals. The students are loving the camera being used in the classroom.

Helping Children With Autism Expand Their Language
Funded Feb 18, 2009Thank you so much for donating to this project. The students in the room are enjoying the bright colorful vocabulary cards. They are enjoying work time so much more now than before. Some students have even started asking to see the card on their own.
The smart talk reader has also been a great success. The students all love electronic gadgets. The Smart Card Reader allows them to practice their speech and comprehension skills, but they think they are playing a game. It's a really cool electronic gadget that has captured their interest from the second it is turned on.
By investing in this project, you have helped increase speech and comprehension in my class. This is the most important gift you could give their parents and myself.”
