The Future is BRIGHT in My Classroom!
Funded Jan 13, 2023The items purchased for this project have helped the learning climate in my classroom immensely! The lighting helps the calmness and the students seem to be complaining of headaches a little less these days!
The students came in on the first day and noticed the lighting was slightly off. They looked up and were excited to see the palm trees and the clouds!
The students love to take a minute and look up at the ceiling to calm their bodies when needed!
Thank you so very much for supporting my classroom!”

Funded Mar 27, 2018We are overjoyed to have this wonderful whiteboard in our room. With returning to more consistent in-person learning, this whiteboard has allowed us to have fun, engaging lessons that bring material to life.
Without this magical board, many of my diverse learners may have struggled to see the lesson and may not get the full benefits of our daily lessons. The board brings our learning to life and can integrate fun gamification into our learning. Our board has helped create sticky learning experiences - you have helped make learning meaningful and built longevity into what we are learning.
Thank you for making our learning magical and showing my little learners they matter and that their learning is important.”

Funded Nov 20, 2017Thank you so very much for donating to our classroom! The students faces were priceless when they saw the STEM kits. They are motivated to finish other science projects so that the STEM can be used. They absolutely love to be engineers! The students love to challenge themselves to fix a problem and these kits are perfect for that! I have seen an improvement on my students problem solving skills. I have also seen students that struggle a but academically in other areas rise to the occasion when there is a problem to be solved while using these kits. It is amazing to watch as teacher.

Help Give us a Learning Boost! A Chromebook Boost!
Funded Jan 17, 2017Thank you for supporting my classroom. The ChromeBooks have allowed more students access to the many applications that support their learning in the classroom. The students have been able to learn how to do research and create google documents. They have also become experts at their math facts due to the daily access of Xtramath.org. My students have become more confident. They feel a sense of ownership to their learning. They love to help a friend with technology issues. They are becoming coding experts as well. The ability to have more students use their own ChromeBook has done wonders for their education.
I truly appreciate your support!”

Funded Oct 12, 2016Your generosity is truly appreciated! The document camera I was able to purchase for my classroom is a wonderful addition to the technology in my classroom. Being able to show a student's work in a clear manner is extremely helpful to the learning in my classroom. This document camera allows a student's assignment to be displayed on the whiteboard for others to learn from. It also allows the students to interactively work off of one math worksheet, therefore learning from each other.
The students are excited to learn from each other! Their faces light up when they see their hard work displayed. They love the positive feedback that other students respond with! This is all possible because of the quality of the camera I was able to order with your donation.
Thank you again for supporting a job I love to come to everyday!”

Help Me Fire Up My Students' Learning
Funded Mar 3, 2016Thank you so very much for your donation towards the Kindle Fires for my classroom. These Kindles Fires have allowed my students to access some amazing apps to enhance their learning. For example, they are able to learn things like coding. They can also follow up on a phonics lesson with a game geared towards that particular sound learned. It is especially helpful for me to use some of the data collected on a couple of the apps to inform my next steps in their instruction. This allows me to individualize their instruction the best I can in the allotted time frame.
The students have taken on new roles of responsibility. They take turns making sure they are charged as well as properly set up ready to go on the morning. It gives the students a sense of ownership. They get super excited to show me they set them all on their own. Most of my students do not have access to technology at home so having the Kindles have allowed ALL the students to have a fair amount of time on some important apps during the day.”
